hey dear BHVR, i know you want to do the biggest fest to 10th anniversary, and I want to offer, how about add legacy skins At the time of the anniversary event, then remove the possibility of receiving it, maybe a code, for example “legacybacktothe2016” , thank you if you listen.

Legacy skins are only wanted because of the novelty(?) and exclusivity associated to them. The moment you take that away, they are nothing more than glowing cheeto dust that barely anyone is going to use.
We've seen this happen with other exclusive skins. People kept asking over and over for the Howling Grounds and Summer BBQ cosmetics to be available again and the moment they were released to everyone the skins lost what made them special. Crowns had a similar situation, and I cant even tell you the last time I saw somebody run around with one of those things

Well, the Howling Grounds (and maybe Summer BBQ) cosmetics were a bit different, they were bugged and NOBODY got them as they should have… so that's why everyone gets them now, but you are right about the crowns for sure.

There was in fact a bug that made people lose them... and the only way to get them back was through support. You know what else had that exact same bug? Legacy. It was a bug basically since release and was happening well before those cosmetics were even a thing. It was such a common thing in fact, theres a whole steam group dedicated to it.

I am not a big fan of fomo and I do think there shouldn't be situations today where you will miss out on a cosmetic for ever just cause you didn't participate in a specific event that year.
But the legacy is a bit different in my eyes. You had to grind for them and from what I have heard it wasn't that easy to get and they are a token of recognition that you were there back in the day.
I think what could be cool is to get a new legacy
collection to honor the tenth anniversary so we can have a similar token ourselves. And to not feed fomo the same outfits come back next year again but I'm a different colour so you can have the nice cosmetics and people can have there badge

Legacy aint doing you much favors either by turning you into a literal glowstick

I run the year 4 crown every game lol not sure what you mean about "nobody cares about these items anymore," sounds like a personal problem if people lose interest in an item just because they can't feel special anymore.

Oh I know, but an event item is different than Legacy. I think they should at this point give the Legacy skins to any account old enough to have earned them (which would not be me) since they can't fix others, but no way they will do that.
Also the Howling Grounds specifically nobody got at all due to a bug with the event at the time, and so that's when they added them to everyone because they had no way to track who'd earned them or not. As for Summer BBQ, yes some who had them lost them so that's why they added them to everyone, but also even then that was buggy so that's when they said that if you didn't get the Summer BBQ you could just email them and they'd be granted.-1 -

This just isn't true as I grinded for both the mask and jacket and got them just fine, and everyone I knew at the time also got them. One of them did run into the bug where he lost them like a year later and he was able to contact support and get them again (and then a month or 2 after that, they decided to give them out to everyone, go figure lol)
