Has Plague become Ghost Face?

Plague is insane when survivors Cleanse, but they never do, so you're just playing a M1 killer with everyone exposed. I had an epiphany lately that I was just playing Plague like Ghost Face. I was running Oblivious and Detectable on Plague since the instant down with stealth is strong, but then I realised that's literally just Ghost Face lmao

    I would not mind her getting a rework where her secondary ability to down with the puke would happen when some factors has happened. Like I don't know let her get the power when all survivors are poisoned fully in the broken state but if she takes it everyone gets healed to full. It could still have the same activation requirement of her going to a fountain or maybe combination where she will also get it if the survivors use all the fountains to cleanse but still every time she gets it the infection is removed. Like make it so that it happens so she gets to use her power and I with both it might add new layer of survivors trying to ping pong between not getting all broken at the same time and not using all the pools.

    This is just me speculating a way of her to be changed but have to admit she needs some rework her gameplay loop is quite boring.

    I mentioned before that I think she'd benefit from something similar to Wesker. Allow the sickness to progress through its current stages, uncluding broken, but with a final tier that only comes into pay when all survivors are infected at the same time that is much more dangerous.

    Let's take a hinder, for example. Here's my unedited spitball:

    Once broken and all other survivors are infected (stage does not matter), a new timer will start, maybe 2 minutes long. Once you hit that 2 minute mark you become 7% hindered and killer instinct activates on you for 5s, alerting Plague to where you are. This is obviously pretty devastating, however the counterplay is that the timer resets and cannot progress so long as at least 1 survivor is healthy.

    This forces 1 cleanse per 4 players every so often, instead of everyone needing to cleanse. It also means that Plague collects her power, even if you get infected again during that time, it's unlikely another teammate will get hit with the hinder before the power expires. It also discourages cleansing until you absolutely must, as one player cleansing indirectly benefits everyone so you might as well make it the player who is already broken.

    Maybe this will make her power description very much a wall of text, but I do think it would motivate strategically timed cleanses and give Plague a steady supply of big vomit mode. Perhaps some numerical tweaks would be needed to keep this from becoming too oppressive, but I'd love to try something like this out.

    She isnt good without addons especialy against survivors that are good because even when she counters all healing and everyone is oneshot she is without power (red puke) just normal m1 killer that is super tall and leaves behind her smoke so she is very easy to see or checkspot on loops compare to other m1 killers or 115% speed killers.

    She depends on survivors making mistake of cleansing and her addons like apple addons that give her more blood pools which gives her that antiloop power. Being able to stop healing isnt bad but good survivors will jump on gens and all the time they would waste for healing they will just invest in gens and now you dont have total nightmare against you but m1 killer that is way esier to loop than others and has to deal with more agressive gen speed and that isnt fun at all as killer.

    Her gold times were selfcare or CoH meta but today where survivors are more taught to play injured and killers like plague that can inure but than have nothing (almost but her pools are spread on map and she has no mobility unlike oni who must build his power but than has more mobility and lethality in my opinion) to help you in chase or move around the map which isnt good.

    She is great with addons but without them or good ones like apple ones she sucks and its mediocre killer but with huge drawback to getting fater gens.

    Didn't devs address this by giving a blood fountain at the start and a addon to get more blood fountain

    Getting to use it once a match is not much a fix. When it does not change the gameplay loop that has existed from her release and has not changed at all even with those changes.

    An thats it she is unfun and weak and boring without addons even just worst apple makes huge difference.

    She been marked for some changes in past with pinhead but than it got scraped.

    She's much better than him.

    She can use Thanatophobia excellently, everyone is exposed constantly (unlike GF), she can also use the corrupt purge, ect.

    But without tana or slowdown and addons like apples she is better than ghostface because her power is consistent but doesnt make her enjoyable much survivors swarm gens because they cant waste time healing snd she is very tall m1 killer with no chase power only against injured survivors thats why oni id better he needs to work more but his power gives him more value in chase than plagues does because going to fontains isnt fast and without addons you dont have many of them just one.

    Good killer but with addons and mid without addons but sucks to play as, even twins and krasue are better because they got something for them going snd more interactive power which plague doesnt plus krasue and twins arent heavily dependent on addons as plague is. Plague against good survivors is pain without red puke because looping her is very easy and survivors go more on gens so theres even less slowdown than legion has which on killer that has no chase power without survivors giving him it or addons is pain.

    I think what's getting skipped here is that in order to prevent her from having her power be able to down wounded survivors, survivors have to play wounded. That's not inconsequential.

    I would make her both iri add ons basekit so survivors have motivation to cleanse, to get rid of the aura reveal and when rushing gens you would get free power for it, it's 5x total per game only, so… wouldn't even be that crazy.

    her iri addons are what makes her an A tier killer. making those basekit would be completely overkill. iri seal is horribly designed for the same reason why fast track is being complained about now. rewarding the other side for doing your objective is not healthy at all - not to mention it completely screws over the survivor actively in chase when a gen gets done. black incense isn’t any better either. getting constant aura reads on survivors without them even knowing is just busted beyond belief. the only way to tell if that addon is in play is by running distortion, we see you, or object.

    she needs other changes to boost her strength rather than just giving her 2 busted addons basekit.
