Dc penalties
Can we talk about how dc penalties need to be reworked. I was in killer lobby an we just started loading screen and because of sony decides out of nowhere have a rule change agreement thing to approve on, it kicked me out off loading screen and wouldn't let me access dbd. It wasn't til I closed app and saw i was signed off that I found out what had just happened. It was out of my control and didn't know ps Sony was gonna have a agreement to approve at 11:15pm. I get on dbd and I go to ready up and have a 5min penalty. That's crazy. It be one thing if I dc while in a match but to penalize me during loading screen, it mind blowing.

There's a lot of ways to trigger the system. I've had multiple games in a day with a cheater that makes a game last a few seconds. after the 2nd one you also get match suspended.

If you got a 5 minute penalty that means you have been DC-ing in other matches too. The system is set up so that you get a “freebie” with no penalty for these type of rare situations where you get disconnected for reasons outside of your control. It’s hard to agree with you if you’re disconnecting in other matches for reasons that are within your control.

Nope i didn't, I don't dc just abandon option. I do get hackers alot, and it causes my game to think I gave up and went afk or something. But believe it or not the penalty is faulty. My bf works alot and had went a week not playing dbd and he logs in and ready up and had a 5 min penalty and he never he dc once. He contacted behavior ofc and had someone name hank email him but there wasn't nothing they could do.
