Which lore should I read into first?

I've got a decent amount of hours in the game but never gave any attention to the lore. With seeing some dbd-reels I'm getting an itch to start reading into them. Any chapters/characters in particular you'd recommend to start with?

    I guess just whoever your favorite characters are. I haven't looked into the lore myself either as i wasn't drawn to the way its told in the tomes. Otherwise i havent figured out where to look for just the full book reading style lore.

    I'm just gonna trust what Bixel Bush says and suggest Twins or Plague, though reading about whoever your main is would also be a pretty good start!

    Blight.

    Seriously, I think anyone who is new to DBD's lore should absolutely start with the tragedy of Talbot Grimes aka The Alchemist aka the Blight. Very few BHVR original killers are as consistently compelling and rewarding narratively as Talbot is across all of his stories over multiple years. It also helps that his story will help you understand the Entity a little more and the Realms outside the Trial grounds.

    After Talbot, I suggest Doctor, Dredge, Nick Cage (seriously), Spirit and Oni (and Renjiro), and Haddie and Taurie.

    I would highly recommend going through the very first two tomes before anything else for a multitude of reasons. Regardless of the order of things you got through after.
