What are some tips for hound master and her redirect?

for the 2 other people who play hound master (and to those who dont, yes she is buggy but she is INCREDIBLY satisfying to play imo when bugs arent happening) i am horrible at redirecting the dog, because of how quick people are on reactions to dodge, when i send snuff out and go for a redirect i try and turn and fire it off as fast as possible before the surv can react but i almost always miss because of how fast i fire the second one off. but if i dont fire it off immediately, the surv will either have time to dodge or will get around a corner. Is there a better way for me to be using this ability so i cant hunt down all the little rats i smell skulking about.

    First obvious one, you can try cranking your sensitivity but that’s a low blow.

    Something I like to do is you can almost ‘pre-aim’ the redirect beforehand. When you’re mid transition when it fades to black snug isn’t paused he’s being controlled the second you press redirect. So you can try and get a feel for how far you need to flick while the screen is still dark and either launch him immediately or wait that half second just to check manually.

    Sorry if this isn’t what you’re looking for, but it’s really an experience and feeling kinda thing.
