You should thank the brilliant minds from BHVR approving diminishing returns for that one.

This argument has been said for years now, yet the player base continues to get bigger. The games in a good state right now compared to certain times in its career.

Genuinely can reiterate the same point for survivors, I mean every match you'll see SB, DS, vigil, UB, the works. I don't see a problem with killers using strong perks when survivors are also using strong perks.

Sorry, OP, but this is a nothingburger. Both sides have meta's and those perks present in the meta will often show up nonstop. It likely feels artificially worse for surv because killer selection also factors for them, but end of the day metas are metas.

I don't like it either, but water is wet.

When It comes to a killer meta I notice a odd thing at least in my games, People who are playing weaker killers are running non meta sort of builds, If they do have a slow down its only one.

Meanwhile versing a ghoul or blight its almost certain they will be running multiple slow down perks. Sadly they are some of the more common killer. Nurse I find its 50/50 between her running aura / slow down. or she's flexing and just running one or no perks.

Its just amusing its most likely to have a weaker killer not running slow down vs hyper mobility killer who stack it.

I don't even get killers who run slowdown perks, whenever I run a slowdown meta my gens get rushed regardless but if I'm a survivor and go up against a slowdown meta we rarely get a gen done, solo queue in a nutshell.

There will always be a meta.

The one we have right now is one of the more healthy ones the game has seen. Last time we experienced a meta - shift up, the game got actively worse, so im not too thrilled to get another one.

Nah man, this has nothing to do with Diminishing Returns. The simple thing is that running 4 Slowdowns is possible on any Killer without exception. Some Perks work better on some Killers and not really on others (e.g. BBQ is good on a Blight or Billy, but way worse on a Myers or Deathslinger). But Slowdowns work equally as good on any Killer, with slight variations. But there are enough Slowdown-Perks to have 4 for every Killer.

Plus stacking slowdowns and tunneling are just the easiest ways to play the game. Obviously this will be done.

Well we can't win I guess.

If I play meta killers and perks people are angry and if I play of meta killers and perks people make fun of you cause they brought meta builds.

Or I play my two mains legion and plague and get a DC in the first five minutes of the game and then either all survs slowly DC or I get cursed at in chat when I didn't let the other three survivors go cause that's for some reason my responsibility

We can look over the last few years of changes and there has been barely anything worthwhile towards killer. This is why Killer Meta is stale and the same. The last time killers got a wide sweeping changes was 6.1 and survivors collectively complained about it that most of those buffs have been negated by other changes over the years.

We really need more frequent and drastic balance changes. Like Diminishing Returns are interesting except that we likely have to wait months if not years for the devs to get around to adjusting perks.

don't forget Finesse in that list. the ever reliable second exhaustion for when the regular ol pre run doesn't quite cut it

Personally I think this is because many people who play weaker killers play what they think is fun, and people who play stronger killers are sweatier and focus more on winning. I'm usually in the former camp: I play killers I enjoy playing, and with little to no slowdown.

I've had some decent success with Trickster, running Blood Favor, Mindbreaker, Iron Maiden and Darkness Revealed.
While I haven't played that much DBD over the past 30 days, 70% KR over 16 matches isn't that bad.
