The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

I think it's time to evaluate proxy camping
Every other game its just the same thing, we can start by extending camp meter to 15 yards and see what happens.

you missed when anti camp was first introduced.
It was originally going to be larger, and is basically broke all indoor/two story maps for killer and made pressuring hooks impossible.
So because of that and feedback they shrunk the zone down to what it is currently.

Well the actual solution requires map/power re-balancing which isn't happening anytime soon so at this point I'd take a band-aid fix.

that isn’t a band aid fix that’s saying ‘oh you cut your finger, it hurts? (Cuts off finger) you don’t have a finger anymore so now it doesn’t hurt’

Perhaps they could change anticamp altogether. Like one example being how ghost face gets revealed by close range line of sight, if you can stare directly at the killer in a certain range it fills the bar seperately alongside the main anticamp range. This makes it so killers can pressure hooks but have to stay out of sight or actualy go after people. And can still have immense pressure on basement hooks

It's an annoying part of the game meta. But the current game balance incentivises killers to do it.
If survivors are competent at chase, majority of killers will spend too much time chasing a full health survivor for a down. It's much more expedient to get a free hit when someone goes to unhook, can't expect killers to throw the game by playing nice.
If they strengthen the anti camp further to eliminate proxy camping then they'd need to rebalance chase speeds which would be a very difficult balancing act. The current system has stopped killers full on facecamping which was much more annoying.

Didn't know DBD measured in yards ⛳️

That could be an interesting flip. I like to imagine that one day kindred will be basekit, only as far as seeing teammates and not killer aura, because it would be a perk that helps Solo pretty much exclusively. But I know many people have a concern about what kindred would become if a variant of it became a base game feature. It might be neat if it turned into a revealing killer aura perk depending on proximity to the hook and the one on it. If you can see the killer for “x” Amount of distance, their aura shows up for your team. The counter to this being hiding out of line of sight of the survivor on hook or not proxy camping. But maybe it would be a good replacement if the teammate aura aspect of kindred ever became base kit.

I feel like proxy camping is more annoying personally, part of it is the survivor's fault since dying in a good spot is skill expression in itself.
I'd honestly be okay with just making gen spawns more sporadic, proxy camping feels really awful on maps with static gens.0 -
they already tried increasing the anti-camp by 4 meters a few months ago on a ptb but then a lot of killer players acted like it was going to give constant false positives and let people kobe off the hook in every match so it was sadly reverted. so if i were u, i wouldn’t expect anything related the anti-camp size increase anytime soon.

I think the anti camp should be based off the killers power, ranged killers shouldnt have the same range on the anticamp as m1 killers. Likewise m1 killers should have the zone slightly reduced. Either tying it into terror radius or just straight up make hooks teleport away if a killer is too close for too long. Its why I like 2v8 no one accuses you of camping when the cage just leaves

How many more free crutches do we need to give survivors? It’s never enough for some people. We will soon be at a point where killers are very limited in playing the way they want to play based on game situation because of all these rules and restrictions that survivors want placed on them.
Proxy camping comes with big downsides for killers as long as the survivors are at least semi-competent in chases and making attention to what their teammates are doing. Trust me, I’ve tried it as killer plenty of times and realized that it doesn’t work against good survivors. If a killer is camping and not pressuring gens, that means two survivors are free to crank out gens for the entire match. Camping only works well if survivors are 1) not lasting very long in chase and 2) not staying on gens like they should be.

My main issue with proxy camping is just from the high mobility killers. Blight, Nurse, Kankei, Hillbilly.
It treats those killers the same proxy distance as Trapper or other slower killers and it just….Doesn't work with them. Change how proxy camping works with the killers than can get around super fast and then I think its pretty set. You can easily get a save against a lot of the proxy camping killers if they don't move at mach speed.

Honestly I don't get what you mean by this. What is a "good spot" to go down in? Aside from not winding up in basement. The hook location is rarely under the survivors control because killers usually have an option of 2 or 3 different hooks they can run for.
The only situation i can think of where survs can maybe affect the outcome is by going down in the very corner of the map to limit the number of hooks a killer can run for, allowing easier sabo plays or maybe guarenteeing a wiggle out if the nearest hook is already occupied or broken.
And idk what gen spawns have to do with proxy camping.

I don't think it's necessary atm cause the current Dev pattern their doing right now is when a killer is being updated like Trickster for example they are adding Anti-camp power restrictions so it's hard for killers to do
