Future 2v8's
So BHVR has put out a survey recently about the latest 2v8 asking specific questions about it, such as "What Killer would you NOT want to see in 2v8?". As well as in their question "What Killer would you like to see in 2v8", there's a check box for "No new Killers added". Not to mention Survivors want Oni removed after the successful removal of Legion because they're 'not fun to play against' because trying to spread out a little more or camping a pallet to drop on Legion's head to end the Feral Frenzy chain is WAAAAY to complex for the average survivor to do. It's also not like there's 3-4 Escapists in every lobby with their on command AoE Sprint Burst available every 30 seconds (with also cooldown reductions when Survivors are rescued from cages).
BHVR has said that their main focus for who to bring into 2v8 is 'fun to play against' and the harsh truth is…. the average Survivor doesn't find ANY Killer fun. I watched a streamer playing Xenomorph against a Survivor who in the post game chat was complaining about the Flame Turrets not doing anything to counter Xenomorph. The Xenomorph player explained in great detail how to utilize the Flame Turrets and to paraphrase the Survivors response "Nah bruh, Xeno just needs more proper counter-play".
The only Killers that the average Survivor actually finds fun to play against is the inexperienced Nurses who always full charges her Blinks, the Cannibals who take loops really wide to avoid bumping, the Hillbillies who don't know how to curve and just use the chainsaw for traversal, the Hags who try and chase not realizing they're too slow to catch up and don't use their traps etc.
There shouldn't be a 2v8 without at least 2-3 Killers added until we got like 60% of the roster in. There are some very simple killers that can be added without a lot of variables like "is there enough space for both Killers props to spawn in without affecting chests/totems etc". Even so all the maps in 2v8 are literally generated in the same layout every time so just need to add more spawn points for Killer props.
However some Killers like Doctor and Plague etc should need to have their accessibility issues resolved first. With the addition of personalizing your Aura and Scratch Mark colors, BHVR has shown that it's quite capable to add client side toggles. For Doctor you can be given the option to turn off the VFX on the screen so people who have a sensibility issue can deal with playing against Doctor. For Plague, they can add a toggle for instead of a Survivor puking, they can throw their hands and head toward the sky and do a low grunted scream.
Also 2v8 should be far less often than it is. Every 3-4 months is fine, but at this rate it's Chaos Shuffle for 3 weeks, then a week of nothing, then 3 weeks of 2v8, then some holiday event for 3 weeks, then a week of rest followed by another 3 weeks of another 2v8. I feel when the community asked for alternate game modes, we were expecting a few Mario Party-like game modes. Outside of the themed modes (Halloween and Christmas etc) we've only had 4 in which only 2 of them happens frequently (because Survivors HATE Lights Out) but it's always centered around repairing generators.

- Fun to play against is fine as long as they are fun to play as. At the end of the day people choose which killer they want to play as and if weak killers get added they'll simply won't be played which in turn makes their addition redundant. Escapist being be main reason as to why some killers are underplayed compared to others.0
