killers holding their power
I think this is a problem in the game because killers like pyramid head or dracula can just keep holding their power and this forces survivors to be hit regardless of what they do, It makes survivors lose tons of distance and at loops for example if the killer Is right behind the survivor and he goes for a window he gets hit by the power, if he doesn't because he thinks the killer is going to use the power the killer cancels his power and M1 him. I KNOW that you can fake going to a window/pallet and then change direction or do all kinds of fakes but some killer just never use their ability and force you to lose distance and then simply M1 you as I said, I find all of this pretty stupid
I think they should fix this somehow, maybe make it so that if you cancel your power you have to wait a second before you can M1 or maybe if u cancel your power you get slowed down a bit. I would make it so that the killers use it strictly when it's needed and not as a tool to zone you.

So you dislike zoning? SOme killers can do it, hold their power but there is still counterplay because with DBD hitboxes many projectiles are slow and easier to doge like pyramidhead must aim where you will be not where you are which is this shooter thing point and click same with dracula, huntress and many other killers with range ability.
There was many patches that nerfed these killers in zoning and when they cancel their power there is cooldown on their attack like second or two so they cant instantly attack, many of these range abilities can be doged or baited quite easily.
Dracula has one of the most longest cooldowns after he cancels hellfire and phead must aim very ahead where will survivor be because his projectile is very easy to doge it travels so slow that when survivor is on its punishment trail there is still time to run from that 0,5 meters wide trail before its hiotbox reaches you.

P-head’s and Draculas ranged attacks are extremely easy to dodge and bait. Try playing with them against decent survivors and you’ll quickly find out what I’m taking about.
