You can swat the air like a cat and still lose tokens. 

If that was off the table, I could see it be a worthwhile obsession perk that’s not totally outclassed by others.

    You made an attack thus consuming a token, that's how it's supposed to work otherwise you could run it with Unrelenting and swing non stop.

    Why couldn’t you though? It would bring more perk diversity combos for killers.

    Yes but think about it it's meant to make you use it well not have it be a spam o rama ability, you're supposed to use it wisely. Think of it like baseball you get 1 sing per hit and if you miss your swing it's a strike, you don't get to swing and miss and say i want a do over.

    Just FYI, cats are not swatting at the air. They are throwing up gang signs. If you see your cat doing this a lot, move to a new neighborhood.
