For one! People have been wanting Jason for years!
Two…………..IT may not be a thing due to SK.
Three……………………………………………why is there no Jason voice lines? cos he doesn't speak!!!!!!!! But have Mrs in His head be like and in the game Kill them Jason, slug them Jason, mori them Jason in her voice or similiar I so can hear it! do it for mommy Jason lol
also friday the 13th was a base for dead by daylight, the campers, the hooks and the gens! also people moaning out there, watch the movies!

One thing I don't understand is the Springtrap comparisons. I know I'm not the only one who remembers when people comparing Springtrap to Huntress and Ghoul to Legion. And they all turned out to be completely different killers. Like can people wait until the characters are out before they start making these comps.

Likely seriously the only comparison I see to Springtrap is that he has a projectile… but so does Huntress, Deathslinger, Trickster, Artist, etc, so like WHY Springtrap? Their powers don't work a like at all.

The only thing I find strange is that for a 10 year anniversary, it has very little to do with the game at all. I feel like it would've been cooler to see the Overseer become a playable character. Something, anything, to commemorate 10 years of the game. It's also a bad look how Killer-focused it is, because after the "year of health", it only further confirms that the game is for one audience.

yeah, hate for Jason is seems really uncalled for.
The power, while not controller friendly due to aiming seems fitting for the char, some phasing like the game, different weapons/moris as he is known to be Creative in his kills, using also the environment. Lore incorporation is cool. And i love that it has proven those wrong that said he can only be a Trapper clone.
I would still like to see a Camp Emerald Lake map and some Camp counselor Outfits for like Mikaela, Sable and Julian if he joins this year.
And of course a Stephen King property and especially Pennywise/IT would have been cool but… Licensing that should be known to be hard, and hating on Jason when we all knew he has a standing invitation and the Licensing finally made it possible…

There is enough overlap that you never have to play springtrap again outside of if you just like FNAF, because Jason does everything Springtrap does but better.
Faster in general, better stealth, better map traversal, better ranged attack.
Like??? It's not just "oh Jason is 1:1 springtrap" it's "Oh Jason is just a better version of springtrap…"
Yea, they turned out to be different killers in their own way, that doesn't mean those killers didn't basically completely phase out and powercreep the people they were being compared too lol. Why ever touch Legion if Ghoul does the whole free hit thing better on top of ridiculous mobility. Why play huntress if springtrap does the whole "ranged axe thrower" thing on top of having map traversal, on top of not having a lullaby, on top of having stealth, on top of having a 4.6 m/s mode.

I thought it was silly before but now after playing him I think it's even sillier. The teleport feels way more like bat drac and the spear is more Huntress. Does not feel like Springtrap at all to me.
