Was there a dev follow up on the Moonrise points bug?

All members of my SWF group had that same bug with the spinning circle instead of getting awarded points, and we couldn't find any posts beyond the initial response and reported fix. That bug felt like being punished for playing the game and we just skipped playing DBD for most of the event because of it. Did we all just miss a dev response on this or was the number of players affected too low to bother?

    There were a few posts after the fix but most of them I saw managed to fix the bug by restarting or reinstalling the game I believe.
