What’s up with the adept achievements?

I’m on Xbox and I have achieved a Merciless victory with the Doctor and Spirit, as well as escaped with Claudette with only their unique perks tonight. I haven’t gotten any of their achievements. But when I played Huntress, Nurse, Wraith, and Trapper as well as Jeff, it did. The only difference between them is that I 4K’d to get the killer achievements and double pipped as Jeff to get his. 

Am am I going crazy or are the adept achievements not displayed accurately? They ask for a merciless victory and an escape. Nothing to do with kills or pips.

    I had the same thing happen to me when I went for Hag's adept. 

    The thing is, apparently you're not supposed to mori with Devour Hope to get the trophy. I was triggered xD.

    PC Boi here so i dunno if it's gonna help xd.
    Merciless Victory counts as killing 4 or someone dc'ing
    The survivor side needs you to escape with 3 unique perks.

    The only thing i can say is: Make sure you have only those 3 perks equipped.
    As killer slug to get the 4k.
