We noticed an issue affecting the amount of Toothy Tortes delivered in the Bloodweb when using the Auto-Bloodweb and Bulk Spending features. This issue is now fixed, but you may need to reboot to see it reflected in-game. We have also slightly increased the number of Toothy Tortes that will appear in the Bloodweb.
We know players encountered different issues when playing the Black Banquet Event, and we wouldn't want you to leave the feast still hungry. We'll be providing 5M Bloodpoints to all players, redeemable in your in-game inbox. Thank you for your patience as we worked on these issues, and we hope to see you in The Fog!

Jason's kit is just another band-aid fix to the problems in this game

The problem being that most Killers are not weak, but survivors have become too strong. The amount of basekit stuff survivors have been getting and nerfs killers have gotten, has made it so the later feel weak. The solution from BHVR is to release more oppressive killers that can counter all of it… and this is the point we are reaching, a killer with a ridiculous amount of tools to ease such a mess of a balance. Lets take a look at all he can do.

So he got:

-- Zoning tool and one of the fastest projectiles in the game
-- His projectile, if hit, gives aura reading (that means he can see the pool he trowed at you, in you, which allows him to see your location in loops/jungle jims/shack until you remove it)
-- His projectiles dont need a locker or a slowdown reload speed, making it feel almost instant
-- His projectile also launches you, taking you out of whatever loop you are, being able to double tap you
-- His projectile can also pin you to the wall, allowing him to insta mori you, making it easier to go back to gen control
-- His projectile allow him to insta mori you on the floor, making it easier to go back to gen control
-- Best teleport in the game with a bunch of aura reading (impossible to even get a hatch unless it spawn right under your feet, also forget about exit door control in big maps)
-- Can regress gens while being on the teleport mode (lets be honest, what killer is not going to use this addon?)
-- Out of the teleport makes you scream and also killer instinct
-- Fake 4.4 killer, since he gets speed boost after teleport, making sight of view mind games completely pointless, since he already catched up to you
-- Breaking hooks to use them as ammunition is not punishing, since he can reset them by going into teleport mode

Taking also in consideration that most of his addons improve all of the above mentioned habilities.

What i understand, from this overtunned kit, is that BHVR payed a lot of money for this license and they want to make that money back lmao. I am a killer main, i main Pinhead and i am a decent survivor who just play solo queue (yes i know), so i dont believe in that killers vs survivor mentality, thats bs. Its players vs BHVR.

My point beign: this guy, single handedly, power creept the heck out of 90% of the killer roster, if not ALL of them. I dont want to have to buy a killer to be able to keep up with this questionable balance decisions.

We gotta stop pretending these are the olden days where Dead Hard ruled the meta. Now survivors gotta work harder than killers for wins. Look at the win rates. BHVR balances to make sure killers are winning 50%-60% of the time.

Most of the killer roster is outdated and need updates. Jason would be considered broken a few years back, but he's just a little over perfectly balanced in the current game.

Huntress hasn't changed a whole lot. Aside Iri head, she's actually stronger than her previous version which was in the top 3 for strongest killers. Pallet density and map updates have made her power pretty obsolete. Jason only has the upper hand because of his map mobility, otherwise Huntress has a faster time to down.

Killers are struggling because most of them don't function well in the game anymore. Rather than nerfing Jason and survivors to all hell, why is it such a bad idea to try and bring other killers to a higher level to compete with the current game?

Win rate and kill rate are not the same thing. Target kill rate is 60%. Win rate is likely closer to 50% (or slightly lower) and if killers are winning around 50% of matches then that is pretty well balanced.

This is actually what i wanted to point out, but it seems pointless since i know BHVR wont do it because it wont bring any money… except it would. New players would buy older killers if after doing some research on them, they woudnt find out that said killer is F tier and sucked on the current meta.

I believe this is the direction BHVR wants to take this game… or maybe, its just the usual "big sale, take it while its hot" before they run the mega nerf hammer on him to fill up their bags.

We don't have Old Dead hard but we have pretty strong stuff today, like Shoulden the Burden, Resurgence, Decisive Strike, Hyperfocus + Stake Out. Along with this we have a plenty of killer nerfs and survivor buffs like the antifacecamp system, the basekit endurance, the removal of hook grabs, the hud, etc etc.

I wouldn't say survivor is weaker, its just require more skill in some aspects - but you can still cheese the gameplay with certain builds and items to this day.

I don't think this has really been a trend. Jason outclassing most of the roster with his overstuffed, overturned kit feels very much like a money grab form a long sought after (and probably expensive) license. Compare him to the most recent killers.

Henry is not a good tunneler whereas Jason is probably the cheesiest tunneler in the game right now. Both these killers can stay in their traversal powers infinitely but Henry is loud and visible whereas Jason can only be perceived on maps with grass. Henry's Undergate cooldown is 35s compared to Jason's 12s, and he doesn't get haste or KI but has to stay 4.4 and get destroyed by survivors holding W.

Krasue was a busted mess that was immediately nerfed but she also was designed to come out with anti-tunnel so that was probably just unfortunate.

Springtrap has static teleport locations that are broadcasted before he exits. He needs at least 10s between axe throws.

Ghoul is the only killer I'd compare him to and even he has less in his kit. I will say the next killer looks equally concerning. They are over complicating killers and giving them too may abilities.

"Survivors gotta work harder than killers for wins" Is the most out of touch quote I think I've read in a while, as a solo que survivor I ran a multitude of killers for 4 gens on repeat, image what I could do in a swf, when I played killer after a single good game all I got were matches with swfs and surprise surprise, it was a nightmare, isn't this a game where the killers are suppose to be the ones whom terrorize? I felt more terror coming from swfs and overpowered survivors ever since the killer nerfs where before the killer nerfs I actually felt like the horror icon the game was designed around. L take from an out of touch player.
