What do we think about wraith?

I'm not going to be convinced on this ever, fully prepared to die on this hill. The tbtc interaction is very cheesy. It completely circumvents the whole limitation of his power.

If tbtc wasn't so fast to trigger then I probably wouldn't mind too much. But it doesn't slow him during the prompt. I used this combo once in a game just to see how bad it could be. And i absolutely slammed a 4 man coordinated swf with it, minimal effort.

Like while tbtc is active, which is a fair time, you can literally cloak mid chase, get right on top of the surv and then use a gen in LoS to uncloak instantly with no slow down. The distance it can be used at allows free hits way too easily, it an be triggered far enough that survs can't hear your breathing.

I'm fully convinced the devs looked at it, and decided that trying to fix the code was too much hassle and just said "meh, lets just say it was intentional"

They did take a look at it and cuz people liked it they kept it, it's just not that broken as you get only one free hit per hook stage and sometimes you might not even get it and again you need to use a meme add-on.

Tbh if we dont count meta perk wraith then dreadge after his latest buffs beats him dont forget he is same speed as survivor when using the remenant so this makes loosing distance not so bad and on loops where you can trap survivor he is way more stronger now.

Wraith is only better with his top addons like faster breaking plus uncloak speed the highest ones in combination or cloaked movement speed etc. this makes wraith stronger and more reliable with way less skill requirement but without these dreage beats wraith, what makes dreadge still totaly bad is map dependency like if you get farm map or garden of joy you have few lockers in nowhere and thats terrible plus on garden howl W is very strong so using remenant in chase isnt much possible.

Doesn't really count as a meme addon if it works for his strongest perk interaction. And yeah free hit every hook stage is pretty strong especially if you have people injured, it's also very strong for tunneling and if survs stop doing gens to avoid the free hit it's easy pressure. Causes way too many early game snowballs.

Gonna have to agree to disagree, cause like I said, I'm firm on this one.

Springtrap is vell balanced, wraith is addons dependent as hell and only with best addons he is in that mid sweat spot people consider "balanced" the gold somewhere middle of b-tier.

If killer needs best stuff to be in middle balnced spot then I dont think its balanced because without best addons he is underbalanced he just sucks unless you play against potatoe tier survivors but seasoned ones will smoke you like potatoe.

All people have their own opinions, if you don't like it don't use it, others find it fun and survivors don't get specifically wraith and with this combo every match so it's not really an issue.

I think he's good, a remnant of old dbd but that's what makes him fairly balanced.

I think wraith is a good killer thats been pretty resilient through the dbd changes but the pallet density hurts him alot. the way his ability works and anti loop works (in my opinion) is heavily damaged by the ability of survivors to chain loops together so body blocking a pallet or spot or other tactics almost always guarantee the surv can reach the next loop that can shut down your lunge by the time your slowdown ends.

He's a good B-tier in a game where theres only a single opponent who sits in A-tier lol.

My main killer! Solid killer overall in terms of power kit & addons (addons are all pretty viable, depending).

Excels in hit & run, his bread and butter (I know a lot of people hate this strat). B+ tier/low A IMO. High mobility paired with being able to catch people off guard or in unfavorable positions. Not healing against a Wraith that knows what he's doing is basically a loss for the survivors. You need to heal against him.

Overall a pretty fair killer, you can catch him coming towards you from his shimmer effect & he is pretty straightforward to understand, both against and playing as. In a pretty good spot honestly.
