Hello Devs and Community! With the constant growth of sci-fi horror in Dead by Daylight, The Predator remains one of the most requested licensed Killers of all time. Here is a fully fleshed-out concept for The Hunter, featuring a completely unique mechanic: vertical gameplay using trees.👤 KILLER OVERVIEW: THE HUNTERName: The Hunter (Yautja)Movement Speed: 4.6 m/sTerror Radius: 32 metersHeight: TallWeapon: Wrist Blades (Extended Dual Blades)Successful Hit Animation: The Hunter taps his wrist computer (making the iconic Yautja clicking sound) as a mechanical cleaning sequence purges blood from the blades.🌲 SPECIAL POWER: TOOLS OF THE HUNT1. Map Interaction: Hunting GroundsSpecial Hunting Trees (or high scaffolding/structures on indoor maps) spawn across the trial near key objectives and Generators.Climbing: Pressing the Interaction button near a tree allows The Hunter to seamlessly leap onto the upper branches in 0.5 seconds. Perspective shifts to a wider view.Transversing: While airborne, The Hunter can target and instantly leap between adjacent Hunting Trees to patrol generators from above.Death from Above: The Hunter can leap down at any time. Landing directly on a Survivor instantly damages them by one health state and triggers a brief stagger effect.2. Passive Ability: Stalker's Patience (Dynamic Stealth)While perched on a tree branch, if The Hunter stands completely still for 3 seconds, his Active Camouflage engages. He becomes 100% invisible (retaining a faint light distortion effect) and gains the Undetectable status effect. Survivors below will only hear a very faint, ambient Yautja click sound.3. Special Ability: Crouch & ProwlThe Hunter can crouch at will on the ground. While crouching, his Terror Radius is reduced to 12 meters and his movement speed drops to 3.8 m/s, allowing for stealthy approach and mind-games around loops.4. Special Attack (M2): Plasma CasterHold M2 to charge and aim the Plasma Caster. A distinct triangular red laser sight appears on the screen.Locking the laser on a Survivor for 1.5 seconds locks the target. Fully charging fires a plasma bolt that damages the Survivor. Missing incurs a 4-second cooldown, while a successful hit reduces it to 2.5 seconds.🃏 UNIQUE PERKS1. Honor CodeYour hunter's pride demands a fair but brutal chase. When chasing a completely healthy Survivor, you gain a 3 / 4 / 5% Haste status effect. Additionally, injuring a Survivor who hasn't healed in the last 60 seconds reveals their aura for 5 seconds.2. Hunter's TrophyEach successful claim brings you closer to the perfect hunt. Each time you hook a Survivor for the first time, gain 1 Token (Max 4). Each Token permanently increases your breaking speed of Palettes, Breakable Walls, and Generators by 4 / 5 / 6%, and decreases your basic attack successful cooldown by 2%.3. No Time to BleedPrey cannot hide their terror from a master predator.Grunts of pain from injured Survivors are 25 / 35 / 50% louder. Furthermore, pools of blood left by injured Survivors glow slightly brighter under your vision and take 2 / 3 / 4 seconds longer to disappear.💀 MOMENTO MORI (Finisher Animation)The camera shifts to a cinematic third-person view behind a crawling Survivor. The Hunter uncloaks right in front of them, lets out a distorted laugh mimicking a previous victim, and lifts the Survivor by their throat with one hand. With his other hand, he extends his Combi-Stick (Spear) and drives it completely through the Survivor's chest. He throws the body down, steps on it, and lets out his iconic, blood-curdling roar into the sky.

I love the concept, but the numbers/cooldowns need tweaking.

Amazing! The tree mechanic is exactly what DBD needs.

Cool idea, but it might be too hard to implement on indoor maps.

I don't like it / I want a different Killer.
