Thoughts on the Asian Servers

I wanted to share some personal thoughts on the current state of the Asian servers.

Frequent Lag Issues

Lately, lag has been a major issue.

I've been experiencing frame rate drops, attacks failing to connect due to what seems like desync, Survivors suddenly speeding up or slowing down unpredictably, and sometimes even appearing to teleport instantly.

When these issues happen so frequently, it's hard to properly enjoy a match.

Generator Repairs Are Too Fast

I've noticed more and more matches where generators get completed incredibly quickly.

I wonder if this has something to do with how much easier it has become to share information through quick chat, as well as the impact of generator-related perks.

Rescue situations are a good example. Survivors can easily coordinate with each other, share information about the rescue, and focus on repairing generators at the same time.

As a result, generators often get completed before the Killer has a real chance to apply pressure, making the game feel especially difficult for Killers.

More Hostile Messages Toward Opponents

I've also noticed more players sending hostile messages to their opponents.

This happens in both solo queue and SWF, so it doesn't seem to be limited to players in a party.

Could it be that quick chat makes it easier for Survivors to coordinate and creates a stronger sense of camaraderie, which in turn makes them more likely to act aggressively toward the opposing side?

That's just my personal impression, but it's something I've been wondering about.

Cheaters in High-MMR Matches

Encountering cheaters in high-MMR matches is no longer particularly uncommon.

I imagine many players at higher ratings take the game seriously, but running into a cheater can ruin an otherwise good match.

Final Thoughts

There seems to be a combination of issues lately: frequent lag, increasingly fast generator repairs, cheaters, and more hostile behavior toward opponents.

With all these things piling up, I feel like the game has become less enjoyable overall, regardless of whether I'm playing Survivor or Killer.

The best servers are the ones without cheaters. I don't cheat, but I keep running into killers who do, and it really annoys me.

Fixing generators quickly is because I know it helps the survivors. For the killer, the game only really starts when all 5 generators are done. You know, at that point I usually choose to escape. LOL

I never send any more hostile messages to my opponents.
