Stop racism and xenophobia

Hey, I'm sorry, but I'm spanish and yes, I play this game. I'm tired of changing my steam name and info because I think there is nothing wrong about putting an [ESP] with your nick or changing your steam country. Can you explain me why I'm a spanish garbage? Why I have to live in a cave? Why I should stop playing this game? Listen up (not talking about all the american people) you're not perfect because of living there and even if you don't like that, the world is big and filled of amazing people worldwide. I'm sorry if I'm like 15 years younger than you and you couldn't touch me in the entire game and the people that was watching your stream catched your racism.
Just wanted to say that if you want to leave some salt don't insult my country and me because of living there.
As always I had to report that streamer but that was months ago, and he continues streaming dbd with racist comments.

From what I've heard, changing your steam country (so that you get people from different areas of the world) may give you or them a laggy lobby. People will dig into whatever they can to try to tear you down, though. Don't let it get to you too much.

Do you really think that wasn't racist? That becoming of a man that was streaming, also on his chat is not allowed racist comments and I was like #########.

If your white, no one seems to care about racism against you. Go figure.

Personally, I don't give a sh!t were people are from. Guess you beat someone and they are looking for anything they can rant about.
Don't stress about it, I get called many things when I outplay someone and it spoils their "I'm the best" mentality

@Arsoul then that's xenophobic but I consider that racist

    Spanish, African, Asian
What difference should it make in a game.

But, yeah. I guess race is an easy thing for people use to abuse people. Sad those people play this game and spoil it for you

Honestly I get pissed at Spanish people sometimes on here too because they do some of the dumbest things. But yeah in the heat of the moment it’s hard to remember sometimes it’s a kid on the other side.

    Just don’t take it personally.

Play as michael and camp. Get them back haha

Tbh I didn't met with the racist or xenophobic behaviour in my way in dbd. I've get only being insulted at steam forums from the ''pansy'' which is homophobic. But I believe that people are doing that ######### to each other.

Oh, so you don't mean you changed it to get a match in another place. Just report them and move on, then. As I said before, some people will dig into whatever they can to tear other people down. DbD and Twitch has rules against communication abuse, though, and racism.

Keep reporting them. No game or website will ban people for a single offense, at least in most cases.

Yea they shouldnt call you that. They should call you what they really mean which is a "wuss". Because i doubt they are calling into question your sexual preferances and are actually just calling you weak willed or a weak person hence they should call you a wuss.

He's just trying to make you mad and it's working. Things people say shouldn't hurt your feelings in a game. There's going to be a lot more people like that in the future.

I’m assuming the person who said this is just a watered down European!

I hope this isn’t a streamer I watch and support, in any way.

@Angelicus23 BHVR can't do anything about something if it happens via Twitch/Reddit/Twitter etc, you need to report to those platforms.

The stuff they can something about is anything in game related or on the Steam forums that DBD moderates so if it's in game on any of the 3 platforms they can punish for it.

They get to them generally pretty quickly but for privacy reasons can't tell you that hey x person been hit with the whack a jerk bat.

I've seen people i've reported complain about it various places and I get a good chuckle because they proclaim their innocence when they've been a toxic douchebag.

Same. In another thread, I was also asking about a troll who messed up my stealth by blowing everything up and running around me, and then afterwards, ridiculed me for stealthing and "being useless." and sadly convinced the other players that I was bad. We all lived though I felt this was not a good victory. Reported that guy, hopefully, the Dead by Daylight developers will stop toxic behavior like that. :)
(I think some are okay as long as both sides can counter each other and have fun)

I would be happy with something like "We have taken an action against a player you had reported." That would be satisfying.

Well I think they should have it be like Leagues where it says a player you reported has been punished for violating the rules but don't do it right after a reports sent. You get the satisfaction of knowing someone that deserved to be punished was but not which person you reported.

Steam sends messages like that even if they do nothing. I trust the fact that people complain about being banned more than I trust automated messages that could just as easily be sent to appease people.

As the others said, report them. Besides that, ignore those racist people.

Weird story: I once had to report a guy for racism. I got insulted with anti-Chinese slurs because I played Feng. Shows you how much brain capacity these racist people have.
