The Hellraiser License May Be Gone, But Shouldn't Pinhead's Kit Still Work As Intended?

Look, I get it. BHVR can't make money on this character anymore. It's low priority. He's not that popular. On and on.

But come on. He should at least do what he's supposed to do. Chains breaking my heart is to be expected. But one of his most satisfying killer mechanics, blocking an exit and catching the survivor, has been broken on Pinhead SINCE JUNE.

For killers like Houndmaster or Ghoul, their exit gate-blocking was either too short from the beginning or changed to be so intentionally. But Pinhead has always been able to down a chained survivor (injured or exposed) and the exit would remain blocked long enough to pick the surv up. He even has a ######### voice line to punctuate the fact that the survivor can't leave yet.

Except they can. Ever since the Anniversary patch this year, the mechanic has been broken. Chained and injured survivors get hit, and then immediately crawl out. At first I thought I was breaking the chains as I was hitting the surv. Nope. No mention in any patch notes, nothing about intentional changes or known bugs. NEVER acknowledged.

And before you ask, yes, I used the BetaHub website for DBD to report the bug. In fact, it has been reported several times over the last few months! There is nothing else I can realistically do to affect change, so I'm here, screaming into the void.
