I feel fine ~

Given that BHVR doesn't work on weekends, I figured the forums were shutting down on Friday.

Im surprised they even bothered to put PTB feedback threads up considering they will be gone soon.

If DBD had a theme tune, for me it would be Ready to Die by Andrew W. K.
And it seems appropriate to post it here as the forums do indeed get ready to die.
Or if you're in a more somber mood, Scotty playing Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes at Spock's funeral never fails to move me (sorry for the spoiler to a 44 year old movie, I guess).
"Of all the forums I have encountered in my travels, this was the most… human."

This just about sums up my general attitude at this point, lol. What are they gonna do, ban me?

They said after Halloween so I thought we might get till the 1st honestly. One last unexpected blow if it really is in just a handful of hours lol
I guess I'm getting less music than I realize.

This is a song I've associated with DBD for a very long time:
And it is because of this video specifically:
Very fun!
2 -
Oh, I missed that. Maybe you’re right.
1 -
That actually might just make its way to my playlist…
2 -
Hah, I also thought of No One Lives Forever. Great song.
2 -
Glad you like it, friend!

My guess is that the hosting service has been paid through the end of the month.

I know i said i was never gonna post on here again, but screw it i didnt want to leave off on a sour note. Watching discourse online between killer and survivor players reminds me of Right in Two by Tool. Pointless arguments, over and over when we need to come together to discuss problems with dbd in a more civilized way rather than just saying (insert role here) whines too much.
1 -
Glad you came back! And a solid song choice to go with it too. Tool is underrated imo

Everything's On Fire, But I'm Fine
It feels pretty fitting

Here are a few more songs that I think could represent DBD in some way:
Bored Teenagers by The Adverts
Fast and Frightening - L7
^These could easily be songs that The legion listened to on their own mixtapes back in Ormond before the Entity took them.
A song to represent Deathslinger in his Bounty Hunting days.
The Thing That Should Not Be - Metallica. The Entity's favourite song, perhaps?
I may come back to post 2 minutes to Midnight by Iron Maiden at 2 minutes to midnight, just in time for the big switch off.
0 -
It's now 2 minutes to midnight (at least where I am, anyway)!
It may be a few more hours before the forums finally close for good (I don't know), but that's it from me. I'll see you guys on the community/steam forums, I guess. It's been real.
And finally, this one goes out to the bigwigs at BHVR HQ who made the decision to close the forums (The Man Don't Give a F___ By Super Furry Animals):

3 hours left to Midnight on my end, there's still time but I figure this is all the music I'm going to get. Thanks to everyone who was part of these forums, even the people I got way too angry at and argued for pages with. And thanks so much to everyone who gave a song, know that I'll listen to it whenever I wanna remember this place.
Now that we're at the end, I have a confession. I'm not @ArkInk, I'm @SCP_FOR_DBD. BHVR banned me back in 2020 permanently when I had no warnings. I fell out of the game for awhile and came back for Singularity four years later. Across both my accounts I've got around 4,000 posts!
To the mods, lmao. Couldn't catch us all. I have a feeling I'm not the only one like this, but that's besides the point. Your ban escalation sucks and you've been told that plenty.
I've made a lot of goodbye posts in the last few days, but this feels like the one that'll stick it. It's been a genuine pleasure and a rollercoaster of emotions to be here these past 7 years. Please, keep it pushing <3

Generally don't have associations, but was at a Halloween party and Let's Dance came on the playlist and made me think of this thread.
1 -
A 20th song to round out the list! Just barely out from midnight too.
This has satisfied my love for multiples of ten immensely, I thank thee.

In the spirit of being…me I guess
1 -
I was literally thinking about you popping in.
2 -
Oh damn the forums is still up..
2 -
It's universally November 1st everywhere in about a Half Hour, safe to say we don't have long left 😞
Thanks for the songs guys <3
1 -
As awkward as it is with each hour possibly being the last lol im guessing they are going with the regular update time like maybe 2 more hours?
1 -
Makes sense. It's almost 8 am down there so whoever's actually in charge of sunsetting the forums might not have actually clocked in yet

In which case ill spam some more music.

My sister is big into Bring Me the Horizon! Absolutely legendary pull. Hard for me to believe Can You Feel My Heart is 13 years old.
1 -
wait omg bestie, reunited at the last moment
1 -
i saw ratata live! babymetal played it at the o2 in london, incredible song and incredible taste 10/10
1 -
I was wondering if anyone would remember my old account. Tried as hard as I did for a few years to stay away from here, but you know I had to come back eventually lol
0 -
Some were suprised to know my previous name was Tits. Changed my name during the castlevania chapter
1 -
i couldnt forget you man what, i spent like a year searching for a way to contact you LMAO
1 -
I feel I have a vague recollection of this. Did you change your name around the announcement of the Chapter, after the leaks or closer to the content release?
I feel humbled to hear that from you man. I'm still not really a Discord guy, but I did join @GentlemanFridge's server, though I uhh haven't actually introduced myself yet lol
I'll try to be more active around those parts after this place gets nuked, although the recent news might put me off interacting with DBD for however long.
3 -
After the chapter release, and after Alucard came out. Once i confirmed Shanoa and Simon Belmont were just cosplays i came up with the idea to change my name to this lol. I am also on fridge's discord server as Tits
1 -
I'm flattered, but it's not my server 😅. That honour goes to @THE_Crazy_Hyena
1 -
i already sent you a friend request there as soon as i found out who you were LOL im there too
3 -
At least Alucard is one of the best legendary skins aesthetically, still an absolute shame we don't have Maria or Sypha to complete the Rondo or Castlevania 3 trinity, on top of Simon and Shanoa also just being outfits.
My ability to make confidently incorrect statements:
4 -
Well HELL since the forums are still kicking your getting music each time I check
2 -
I did not expect to see the forums still here!
I guess I have time for one last song and one last good bye 🤘
