Solo survivor gaming is NOT easy...
When you have a group of solo survivors, you have three different situations:
1) 4 Experienced survivors: could win the game with 4 escapes or at least someone will have escaped by the end. Probably all gens done.
2) Mix of experienced and inexperienced survivors: after rank reset this is the most common situation and if you main killer you won’t understand how terrible of a nightmare this is for us solo survivors. Survival ratio must be around 15%. You don’t only face a probably experienced killer but you also face your stupid teammates. If the killer is inexperienced, inexperienced survivors will make sure the killer still gets twice as many points than we do, because they will make every single mistake ever in the game.
3) 4 inexperienced survivors: killer farm time.
Something needs to be done about the matchmaking. Rank matchmaking doesn’t work. It really doesn’t and it’s hurting the experience for a lot of players that end up finding their fun somewhere else at the end of the day.

If you just want to pip and be around rank 1 it's really not that hard. I am playing solo most of the time also.
If you care about escape that can be tricky sometimes.1 -
I find solo the more enjoyable experience.1

I play solo survivor and do fine. Even if I dont escape I at least safety pip0

That’s not the problem. The experience as a whole can be really bad as it can be really good. I sometimes swear some of the people I play with have just installed the game. It’s not fair for them when they get an experienced killer, it’s not fair for me when my teammates put every effort into failing at every task hahEveline said:If you just want to pip and be around rank 1 it's really not that hard. Killer is easier and less stressful than solo survivor.1

I like solo over swf, but lately I’ve been getting matched horribly.0

Make the best of the situation you are in. If you focus on earning blood points dying does not matter. It is one of the reasons I play only with Dwight perks and live forever. I help the team and earn BP doing it in solo mode.

I think both can be stressful but with killer I can ocassionally punish toxic survivors one way or another.The_Crusader said:Killer is easier and less stressful than solo survivor.0 -
Well, I’ve added BT and WGLF to my build because I spend more time rescuing people than doing stuff. Yesterday I had a game where the three other survs got hooked one after the other so I ran to rescue them all to find them hooked a minute later. In those games best you can do is save once or twice and do a gen or two. No point in unhooking bad survivors that much, they will go down again.0

I think SWF is easier than playing killer. I think solo survivor is harder than killer and that might not even be true just a slower experience.
I don't rank as well being a solo survivor as I do killer. Obviously that makes sense because you should be better at a role that requires you to work with no one else rather than with 3 other people. That is if you split the tasks equally. I am 60 40 killer right now.
Solo surviving IMO requires patience I don't have. I think it requires patience because more times than not the other players will either be morons, selfish, or a team that will sandbag you. I am not one of those survivors who hide forever. I prefer to play striaght up and fair because its enough if the other survivors do the same. Get on the damn gen and do it until I have to run off. I actually want the hatch removed from the game FROM a survivor perspective. Simply because no one uses it the way I imagine it was intended as. A last ditch effort to escape in a match where the killer held the momentum. Turned into something where other survivors stop working and INTEND for you to die so they can use the hatch. Nearly half my matches as survivor where 1-2 people are dead and we need 2 or more gens turn into me trying to finish the match while the others sneak around hoping I die first.

Killer is easier and less stressful than solo survivor. How easy each role is entirely dependant on who you are facing off against. I play both roles and Killer is way more stressful for me. Stakes go up when I play a double blood point offering or bring in items as a solo survivor but the killer is against the clock every match. I also do not run Ruin so my clock is ticking faster than the meta.

You are easy prey with that kind of team anyway.

I just make sure I pip and either die or get the hatch. Move on to the next game, hopefully more fun experience.

I just feel like as killer im not worrying about someone camping the hook and knocking me down everytime I try to get away. Too many campers.ColonGlock said:@The_Crusader said:
