Gameplay Changing Add-Ons Should Be More Common

Simply put the game does not have a lot of items that change how a killer is played, few items can give the effect that Scratched Mirror provides with the nearest one being Amanda's Letter. I for one think we should cater towards a stealthier, information-based, surprise-focused form of play for killers that provides an incentive to not just tunnel someone to death but to use interesting combinations to more effectively stalk and ambush survivors compared to what is basically just running around and playing tag with them all.

I think a good start for this would be making items like Scratched Mirror and Amanda's Letter more common in the bloodweb, while Scratched Mirror is pretty prevalent The Pig has to actually grab for a red item to get the desired effect. I think with a change in radius to make it more effective on larger maps, it could be a favorite item and lead to a more interesting way of playing pig that isn't focused on either cheesing survivors with a quick tunnel or having to run lethal timers to make her traps an effective deterrent for rushes.

    I agree, all Killers should have one or two addons that change the playstyle significantly to spice things up, and lower than very rare grade if possible. For example we could make speed limiter give Billy unhindered control at the cost of an injure and longer cooldown.

    Paint Brush, Amandas Letter etc. need their rarity decreased.

    I always thought that this would be an excellent way for the devs to incorporate power ideas that were scrapped because they felt it wasnt the exact power they wanted to pursue. It would definitely make each killer more versatile and harder for the survivors to predict what they'll be facing even after seeing the Killer.
