Intro Trapper was from the future?

Did anyone notice the Trapper seen in Dead By Daylight's game intro actually hooks someone and runs straight to Claudette and Jake despite the fact BBQ wasn't a thing back then? Hax!?

    It’s called map awareness. None of his other traps went off, there was only one solid ‘safe’ gen to be on, so he went there.

    I always attributed it to the fact he was standing there with Insidious watching and waiting for the survivors. Of course the survivors were just bad only one of them tried to use cover.

    It's because they were all rank 20's back then. Also no heartbeat so he could have been standing there with insidious.

    You can hear the heartbeat build up and you can see Claudette slowly reacting to it. The Trapper must’ve been walking up to them normally and then stood behind them until they noticed. Some Killer players tend to pause when a Survivor right in front of them isn’t very responsive. The Trapper had to have been walking because he literally just hooked Meg.

    So I suppose the Survivors that we see in the video are supposed to be a depiction of inexperienced or “noob” players.

    You hear her scream in the distance when she misses Decisive Strike.
