    There are some maps with longer stairs, Thompson House and one MacMillan map.
    Both basements are ridiculously strong compared to shack basement for example

    i personally wouldnt mind an extended staircase, but therefore an hole in the roof to gain quick access.
    basically an easy to enter and hard to leave place.

    I imagine as long as you strafe left and right on the stairs, you'd still probably be able to do that pretty easily.
