Help with chases

So as a killer I think my biggest weakness is in chases. I can land the first hit but then I lose them, or I start a chase and around the corner they go and i lose them. I can't seem to follow the blood and/or scratches very well at all. Any tips?

A perk called Bloodhound which is taught from Wraith is godlike for you. Combine it with Sloppy butcher which is a free perk, and you won't lose anyone.

Try to learn how survivors loop (either watch others play survivor or learn it by yourself, the latter would be better), then you can guess where the survivor is most of the time without evne looking at scratchmarks/blood

  • What killer bro?
Try watching Tru3Ta1ents killer games. I personally believe he is the jack of all trades killer. He is good at mind games and all which may help you learn.
Play survivor to and work on loosing killers and then apply what you do in that situation to figure out where they have gone.
Alot can be done if you are having issues. Also practice in a SWF game to get tips from mates

Thanks everyone, I have used Bloodhound but I hate to “waste,” a slot.  Normally I play Pig or hag with nurse call, butcher, monitor and abuse, and BBQ

You just have to practice man. I'd recommend a tracking perk. Whispers is extremely good but Spies From the Shadow is a lot more noob friendly but not nearly as effective as Whispers. You could also play Freddy for a bit until you get use to survivor loops.

Other than that, you might want to go play survivor for a bit or go watch survivor streamers until you get use to their play style and can think like a survivor.
