Dying on second hooked while tapping X

It happens every other time now. I'm rapidly tapping X to struggle and I die midway through second hook for no reason.

    You have to constantly keep tapping. I think that’s why I left the Xbox version for the PC version...It’s easier to tap space rather than a hard round button made of...Marble, I think? I’m probably an idiot but that stuff gets tiring to keep hitting and if you pause for one split second, you’re dead.

    i've been having the same issue too. @SailedSavage usually if the killer moris someone or activates their power i get a framerate drop.
