Lobby times take forever...
I spend at least 5-10 minutes looking for a lobby as a solo survivor and when I’m playing SWF it takes like 30 mins... longer if the ranks are mismatched... but if I’m playing Killer, I get instant lobbies and the thing is I’m tired of playing killer :(
When is this going to be fixed?

This will be fixed when the new chapter hits. A lot more people will wanna test out the new killer, so that should improve survivor queue times by a lot.
However, if its one of those unviable killers again that we will forget about rather fast, then queue times will go back to normal =)

I wonder what could make it so one side has quick queues, and the other one does not... Probably has nothing to do with population or anything like that, that'd be silly.

@Dspigroach But killers are acting like they don’t have crutch perks either....

@Dspigroaxh NOED may be easily countered but half of the time survivors don’t even do totems. When they made NOED more lethal at all tiers, I expected survivors to start cleansing totems left and right but literally none of them cared.
Hex Ruin just needs to be hidden better or give survivors a secondary objective so killers wouldn’t have to feel the need to run Hex ruin
SWF isn’t that powerful and it is so ridiculous how half of the killers on here act towards people!

If noone cares to cleanse Totems, then NOED cant be that big of a deal

@MasterI never complained about it lol

That's why cross platform capability should be a thing already because queues wouldn't be as bad, ya know?

Can we please go back to the old matchmaking system until you iron out the flaws with the current ones? :P

@Nickenzie XBOX & PS4 should have a crossover but not PC. PC has an advantage i.e mouse and keyboard which is not optimized for DBD on console. It’s possible but you would have to buy an expensive USB to format the mouse and keyboard for the game.

@PinkEricka K&M arguement is NOT valid because most of the game is movement based, not aim based. Yes, a PC Nurse is likely better than a console Nurse but here's the thing, a console Nurse will never go against a PC Nurse in the first place due to how the game is designed. Therefore, there is no opportunities for a PC player to actually go against a console player to gain a advantage which means everyone is at a equal playing field since the rest of the game is movement based.
Overall, it's more about preference, I prefer a controller over a K&M because it's what I'm use to.

@Nickenzie When I say K&M has an advantage, I mean 360-wise. You can 360 on console but not as efficiently as PC. They will have better camera movement and they’re not limited to a controller stick.
I’ve seen the juke montages PC players provide and honestly it’s not pretty. I can honestly see why killers get pissed off at that but hey, people are allowed to get mad when trying to have fun but ya gotta remember at the end of the day, it’s just a game.

@PinkEricka Oh, I see where you are coming from, but let's not forget how easy it is to counter a 360, ya know? There are so many things a killer can do to prevent a successful 360 (console killers included) that regardless of how good the 360 is, the killer can still hit you, especially good killers. Therefore, it doesn't matter about how you can perform 360 since console or not, you're likely gonna eat a hit anyways.
If you have any issues or concerns with console and PC crossover then I'll be more than happy to argue with reasoning and justification.

Well, if not enough people are playing killer and this results in long waiting times for survivors, the solution is to make playing killer more appealing to the players.
So survivors should either support killer buffs or accept the queue times. I'd like to see killer buffs.

Every platform is experiencing a lack of killers. Cross-platform gameplay would just exacerbate the problem.

I have a hard time believing that, even if the killer does turn out to be weak or seen as bad, people aren't going to want to play games and vomit on others. This will be a pretty popular killer, I imagine.

On PC the survivor queues are still acceptable, but from what ive heard from consoel players....

Given the asymmetrical nature of the game, I tend to agree that crossplay won't help much with the matchmaking of DBD.
For the sake of simplicity, let's say there are 1000 players total on PC, 100 of them who main killers on average, or 10%. (Ideally, you would have 200/1000, or 20% of the players being killer for the most efficient matchmaking, since each match consists of 5 people with 1 of them being the killer.)
Now let's take PS4, which seems to have the most complaints about long matchmakings and lack of killers. Again, for the sake of simplicity, we'll say there are 500 players total, and 0 of them who main killers on average or 0%.
We'll merge the population together, and have 1500 players total, with 100 of them maining killers on average, or 6.6%.
It would help the PS4 console players somewhat, but it would produce a longer waiting time for PC players on average. But the most important part is that it doesn't help with the lack of the killer population, which needs to be around 20% consistently.
Now this example doesn't take the DBD matchmaking algorithm into consideration, so depending on people's ranks and geographical location, certain people may be able to get faster matchmaking than others, but overall, it seems like the best way to fix the long matchmaking for DBD's overall health is get people to enjoy playing killers more, and increase their population on average.
