You do know that trailers come some time before events, right? Like movie trailers.

Not launch trailers though. Those typically release the week you can go see the movie/buy the content.
It means its launching soon. This chapter isnt soon its not even in ptb.
Look at other dbd launch trailer dates for actual launch trailers

I think they are changing the way they present chapters.
Launch trailers were stupid since we already knew the new killer and the survivor because of the PTB. This way is way better imo. They released the launch trailer, most probably we are gonna learn a lot about the new chapter today on the dev stream, tomorrow we are gonna try the new stuff and then we will get the new chapter.

They've changed the name. It did used to say "Launch Trailer", but now it's just "Trailer".

technically speaking, we do not know weather there is going to be a PTB or not.
if we look at the date the last killer arrived in the fog, tomorrow should be the release day for The Plague.
guess we'll see when the dev stream starts ^^

I can only hope but a dev said they needed a PTB to test the stuff.
Also we know that the decisive strike is gonna go to the PTB first, it doesn't make sense to not try the new chapter on the PTB and release it, while there is a PTB anyway.

Like what Mister said... What if there is no PTB... So far I think everyone is assuming their is a PTB. PTB was updated last week... (someone noticed this and mentioned it on the steam forums).. but have the Devs said this chapter was going onto the PTB?
It could be very possible that the release is tomorrow and their is no PTB. That could be why the Fog Whispers are there today... Doing last minute tweaking before releasing it tomorrow. Cause why listen to the community when you have sort of community heads with the Streamers, since a big portion of the community watch them. So just ask the heads, since they actually play more then most players.
It is very possible tomorrow is the actual Launch and there is no PTB coming out. And tomorrow will be a Play with the Fog Whispers event.

Hey... I'm trying to throw doubt out there.. don't say that.
Yeah in a couple of responses in the QA it says on the PTB.. but what I first seen that post though. .. it felt like it was worded as... "This is the new change to DS.. and this will be in the next update.".. Nothing about the PTB until some responses in the QA.
