Most Crutch Survivor Things

Now I don't want this to turn into a rage debate on whether or not survivor or killer is overpowered or not. I just want your opinions on what stuff survivors have that would be considered crutch. Doing this for a little project. My definition of a crutch is something that helps make up for the lack of skill a player has.

Can't say Decisive Strike because I have other uses for that one. Have at it!

What. DS is literally the definition of this.

Self Care 100%. When it's treated as something you basically have to have, that's when a perk becomes a crutch.

Technician with the skill check part I guess

Flashlights. Blinding killer is way too easy, and takes no brain. The reward is way too high, especially for saves.

Oh and No One Escapes Death. Carries way too many unskilled killers to rank 1.

I will get a lot of hate but IDC.

First that comes to mind: Ds, flashlights, bt, insta heals and op toolboxes.

Thanks for leaving your ideas. This is what the result of it was. Also the reason I said you couldn’t say DS

I actually read this wrong when I said technician, I think self care is right now.

Insta heal for sure and SB that perk can destroy every ability most of the killers.

Looking at people post Self Care when it's an awful perk that wastes a lot of time for the survivors PepeLaugh. Not sure why others are posting flashlights when the item has been nerfed so many times.

I would love to see a Killer crutch thread as I have a huge list of them.

The only crutch item I can think of for survivors is insta-heals.

    @HorsePower

"SC benefits the killer" has been debunked a 1000 times, can you please stop spreading that nonsense? Thx.

Though not exclusive to Survivors, i actually don't like the frequence at which Ultra Rares show up on Bloodwebs.

I mean, do you think something is ULTRA RARE when it shows up about once per 5 Bloodwebs?

That's like 5 good Killer matches per Ultra Rare.

Exactly where are you hearing this? The perk is god awful and I have not used it even once for almost a year. The perk does benefit the killer because like I said, it wastes a lot of time for survivors. Why would I need a perk that would make me waste time for almost 20 seconds when I could use that time to work on a generator, save a survivor, or heal a survivor off the ground. It actually astounds me that survivors would rather heal themselves with SC and not do any of these actions when the game is going in the killers favor.

@Wolf74 to be fair, it does stop the survivor touching a gen for 32 seconds or 38.4 with Sloppy. So it doesn't exact benefit the killer but it definitely doesn't hurt them.

Agree with self care all the way...you can't always rely on a quick heal from other survivors. I run SC along with Empathy and carry first aid kit most if the time trying to keep everyone alive.
