3 buffs to make the plague good

While i like the design of the plague she has a big problem and thats that good survivors will just stay broken and finish gens asap and dont have the need to use the fountains.

How to make her good?

1: Make the sickness reduce action speed by 25 to 35% so survivors have to use the fountains.

2: Make the fountains only cure the sickness and NOT heal you.

3: Increase the corupt power duration from 45 sec to 60 sec.

Like this survivors have to use the fountains and you can get your upgraded power to use. With 60 sec duration you can find people to use it against more reliably before the timer runs out.

I only take the second suggestion.

    The others are not necessary.

They've said they're not going to change the Sickness or Fountain Mechanics sadly.

Whether that means the instant heal is here to stay or not I don't know but I think this is her main problem.

It was also stated that they did consider action speed penalties for sickness but felt it was 'unfun' so I doubt that'll ever be introduced.

The corrupt could use a bit of a bonus since you have to give up any map pressure by leaving chases/gen patrolling to go and get it.

This is Legion all over again

    - Just make him 115% speed

    - Let his Frenzy instadown injured survivors

Basically ridiculous ideas that really seem to prove that killers just want easy 4ks and killers that are so OP they seem like a fan creation.

It's extremely easy to puke on a survivor, even if only a small amount. They will become broken eventually. Having the action speed debuff or removing the instaheal would seem unfair and OP.

Maybe the speed of the fountain could be reduced a little but it does need to instaheal. Other survivors cant heal infected people without becoming infected themselves, so everyone would need self-care or a med-kit which isnt fair,.

The corrupt purge could perhaps use some tweaking as yes it does seem hard to make use of it sometimes.

Im sure she will get a little buff before release - tis the way they now do things in the post-Freddy era.

am I the only one to think that the plague is a balanced killer and with potential? at most she needs some adjustment but not heavy buffs.

I'd love to see that the Plague can leave all fountains corrupted and prepare for an easier end-game. Right now, when all fountains are corrupted, they all cleanse themselves..

This was what I was hoping for. She should be able to choose to enhance her Purge or trade the enhancement for the ability to keep the survivors broken.

I think that’s a fine balance when considering that survivors fully heal when using the fountains.

1: Unnecessary change. If survivors go to cleanse it immediately anyway, what's the point of having a debuff?

2: Fine. It's kinda dumb that it heals you anyway.

3: Unnecessary. Corrupt Plague isn't really even the highlight of her power. She shines by taking survivors down a health state without giving them a speed boost, not being a less skilled Huntress.

Without a repair debuff there is no reason to cleanse the disease which wil lresult into the corupted part of the ability to not be usable. Good survivors dont have a reason to cleanse they will just ignore being broken and do gens asap. With a repair speed debuff they have a reason to cleanse it.

She's pretty amazing. Just takes some skill.
