Losing rank when others DC

Very frustrating when others DC early in the game leaving only 2 players left in the game. The odds of beating a well ranked killer at this point are slim to none. So you do the best you can, you try to complete as many objectives as possible until you are killed. For this you are rewarded with a loss of rank or rank points. Hardly seems fair to the players who stay in the game and at least try to compete (all be it in vain). Would like to know if others are experiencing the same frustration. CAN YOU PLEASE FIX THIS IN YOUR NEXT PATCH.
