Getting maps several times back to back

What's up with this? Every day i notice some kind of pattern with the maps i get.

Does anyone else notice this? I'm always checking afterwards to see if someone used an offering... and nope. What's the algorithm for map selection? Maybe one of you DBD scientists can explain dis 2 me.
