What if Doctor could damage generators by shocking them?

Doctor isn't the strongest. Annoying, yes, but not exactly strong. He isn't weak in my opinion either. But that is not what this discussion is about. What if Doctor could simply shock a generator that a survivor is not touching to damage it? I think it would make our favorite zappy boi the strongest generator defender to date. Too strong?

Seems a tad bit too strong, but it would be nice to see more Killers like the Plague that can interact with objects like Gens would be nice, but for someone like Doc, that would be a bit out of control for Survivors. :0

I thought about this as well. I came up with as many arguments for it as I did against it. Personally, I'd have to see this in action to really get a good idea of how balanced it'd be.

I actually think it would be neat (but possibly too strong, but this is just hypothetical anyways) if the Doctor could shock a generator to electrically charge it, and the next survivor to touch it gets a burst of madness (in the neighborhood of 25% of a level of madness)

That along with the sniper doc build sounds broken, but fun af

I think it would make him very strong in the endgame, especially if Overcharge and Pop Goes The Weasel worked with this mechanic. It could work an ultra rare addon imo, since he has only one and as a base mechanic it could be comboed with some addons to be really broken.

If it was just to activate regression I think it would be fine, as long as it can't be further damaged while in regression.

Could add some synergy between his power and his perk, Overcharge.

Well, Doctor would be the only killer that could damage generators from far away and that could be too strong.

Imagine a doc finding three gens at the start, never moving from the entire match just constantly shocking and going between them.

I like the sound of it. No idea how powerful it'd be but if it were to be a little much it could at least be restricted to an add-on.

@twistedmonkey I thought of a similar issue as well, maybe instead of damaging the gens, it inflicts a shock if the survivor fails the skill check ( the shocked gen lasts for a short duration *similar to The plague*) and increases their madness.

Take away the "scream/shock stops vaulting" and I would be fine with this. That ######### is so stupid and buggy I dunno why it's in the game.
