Hilbilly nerf when?

This Killer is so utterly OP, anything less than a hardcore SWF just gets obliterated. Especially when perks like Hex: Ruin and BBQ are being used.

This Killer has far too many strengths and not a single weak aspect of him.

  1. 115% movement speed
  2. Unmatched patrol power with the 230% movement speed chainsaw
  3. 1-Hit downing power
  4. Quick destruction of pallets
  5. Small penalty in the event you even miss with your chainsaw, either intentionally or not.

Leatherface is slower, has tricky control of his chainsaw. These are adequate disadvantage when you can down Survivors instantly. Meanwhile Billy is completely superior, and utterly overpowered. This is nearly the only Killer I encounter in the game, especially when you get closer to Rank 1. This Killer, on top of the stupid hitboxes and lagswitching, just makes me not want to play Survivor. I'd rather just play Killer, it's much easier and doesn't give a headache.

I get it's easy for a Killer-dominated forum to defend OP Killers. I understand the mentality, I play both sides a lot.

He’s not exactly OP, but he should slow down a bit when holding his saw.

    Never. How does that sound?

No one is going to agree with you, this is killer dominated forum.. only buff ideas for killer and nerf idea for survivors?

And btw full of this too

Maybe he's base speed should be nerfed? he already has his chainsaw so that's not gonna be a problem..

Well, you said it yourself. Billy is the only counter to hardcore SWF, who otherwise, would be unbeatable. And there's no sign of incoming nerfs to SWF, so...

At least on console, Billy is needed as-is exactly for that simple reason. I know PC has God Nurse too, but she's busted on console.

Hopefully no changes until a buff is required. I like facing him just as he is.

Chainsaw sprint has a steering penalty, a cooldown in which he cant do anything, and potential selfstun. Also he still gets slowed down while charing the ability.

Unlike spirit, he cannot just m1 after gettingbout of the sprint, he wastes some time putting his big tool away, as already mentioned HE CANNOT INTERACT WITH SURVIVORS in that time.

The comparison with LF is always funny, if LF had billy's charge time and/or charging movementpenalty, he'd be midtier or atleast not a joke.

Edit: hillbilly is where other killers should be, newer killer lose basic mechanics to get weaknesses lazy survivors need.

Yea, he's strong but that's okay. Killers need a couple strong killers. If you try and make every killer Wraith tier, this game just won't be fun. Nerf Billy and he essentially becomes scuffed Leatherface, and Leatherface needs a buff. So, do you see the problem with swinging the nerf bat around?

If anything, we should make more killers to be as strong as Hillbilly. He's the most balanced killer out there.

    @Goldengeartwo

Yea and all your other posts on this forum show that you are such a balanceminded player, right?

Every post ist just nerf killer/buff survivor, but you are non biased and play both sides, sure.

    *rolleyes*

I'd say all he needs is narrowing the hit cone of chainsaw, just by a little. I've seen some quite ridiculous hits. I'm generally not up in arms about "hitboxes": only real problems are with Billy's chainsaw, Huntress' hatchets and the effective are for pallet stuns (too big).

Frankly, if he did not have an instadown ability at all, he'd still be a top tier killer. Speed is everything.

FFS stop with this #########. I'm going with @SadonicShadow.

He can be looped to the point where using the chainsaw would be detrimental to catching the survivor.

    Here's a challenge/experiment for you:

Play Billy yourself for 100 matches, which you will record (you can upload as unlisted videos to YouTube).

    Conditions:

Match Result: You must kill all four Survivors every match. Since you're playing an OP character, this should not be a problem.

Perks: You may use any Perks but you must play at least 25 matches without Perks and you may play more matches Perkless if you choose.

The reasoning is that you're asserting that the character is OP, not the Perks.

Addons: You may use any Addons in any combination, but you may not use the same combination for more than 2 matches in a row and at least 25 matches must be played without Addons.

The reasoning is that you're claiming that the character is OP, so just the character with its bare base kit should be sufficient.

Offerings: You may not use any Offerings except for those which grant extra Bloodpoints (Bloody Party Streamers, Survivor Pudding, etc).

You may play up to 10 matches as "warm-up" matches before beginning the challenge and you do not have to complete the challenge in a single day but you cannot take more than 30 days to complete it.
