DS isint useless. It’s just not what it was.

It’s an anti tunneling perk now.

I Wouldn’t think of it as anything else, and it does good if you do get tunneled

A killer can leave you on the ground yes, stop thinking of this as a bad thing. Either they’ll drop you and leave you (recover, decent teammates will come get you) or they’ll sit around you so you don’t get picked up. (Similar to camping, smart teammates will just take that free time to do gens)

Its no longer at the strength it was before, but that doesn’t make it bad. I’ve been using it and it’s saved me from teammates who pulled me off right next to the killer and the killer decided to go for me.

Anti tunneling perk.

I would just like to see it activate every time you’re unhooked, meaning using it doesn’t get rid of it.

The killer also has no way of knowing if you have it or not. I love the new iteration as both survivor and killer. It pairs insanely well with deliverance. Just had the most fun game of my life as survivor against a plague using the new ds.

No one time use is great.... especially after the unhook... if you're running SB or DH you have those back so even if the killer has enduring you counter that.. DS is great... it helps solo and newer players....... yes SWF buffs everything so they can just farm each other off and get away anyways whatever imma still use this perk because the devs did outstanding at changing it and I won't feel like I have toxic oozing out of my pores while using it now

Ds is definitely totally useless now. I just tunneled a ds user while running enduring tier 1 and I actually laughed because he couldn't even take a few steps before I downed him again.
