Plague nerf was a mistake

Nerfing the movement speed while holding the purge feels awful when trying to loop.

    But yea, she didn't need the nerf. 1 person bitches while a killer is on ptb n look what happens.

    I never played her in PTB so I guess I don't know what I missed out on. All I know is that I've been having a blast with her. She feels really well balanced to me.

    It’s quite annoying at loops, but give it time. Learn to use her in other ways, give it a good month of trying to learn her before deciding this nerf was too much

    I agree, the nerf was extremely unneeded, I wish they would have kept her as she was. It was a great way to be time efficient and also keep pressure. Now her power can be a bit tedious and must be charged as you engage or else you’re wasting time.

    In all seriousness she's not terrible but the nerf was pretty unnecessary I've said in other post but will continue to do so.. I don't understand why they nerfed her at her weakest point! Her weakness in the PTB was getting looped so the devs looked at that and said yep guys I've got it how about we make her even worse in loops GENIUS (applause) it turns her into more of an m1 killer in my opinion which is never good. Im hoping she goes back but if not we'll just have to accept her for the low medium tier killer she currently is oh well she is pretty fun still.

    it was called for imo, just holding it forever, finding a survivor, and causing them to go tino broken state just like that was to strong

    It honestly makes her horrible at loops, It was her weak point before but now It's just awful.

    Before you could hold the puke in and spray it on sight but now you have to do it in Bursts to have a chance at getting the survivor, This not only slows you down to 110% while she's holding charge but slows her down even more when shes charging it. Having to do this more then once you loose distance so easily.

    Clearly they don't want people walking behind survivors and puking on them even though that apparently was how she was meant to be played.

    I can see everyones point and I thought the same too. She was weak at looping and now she's nerfed to be worse.

    However upon reflection and at the risk of having the unpopular opinion, I think she might be a little better/easier to use?

    If you didn't get a full blast on them before you were punished hard by having to charge her purge and have it slow her down drastically. Now that the charge isn't as slow I feel like she's easier to use. A little less punishing if you miss.

    Tbf I dont see much of a difference then again I didn't get to play her on ptb because lobby waiting time was horrendous.

    Even survivors were basically saying that instahealing after the corrupted fountain was a bit too much. Here, let's nerf her even more so that instahealing against her turns her into a huntress with less range and limited duration.

    Well, I guess it's good I cant access PTB and experienced playing her before this change. I'm assuming it's the speed of Doctor winding up for a shock?

    I haven't seen any hard confirmation, but apparently she moves like Doctor in Treatment Mode while holding her charge (though she moves even slower while she is charging up her vomit).

    Here's the main issue: There are addons to speed up her charging duration, but none to speed her up while her charge is held. The slowdown while charging used to be something you could offset with addons (which is still bad design philosophy, but it was possible) while here we have her nerf falling on a bald spot that has no way to be addressed. Loops turn her into a M1 killer the vast majority of the time, which hurts her map pressure tremendously on a lot of maps. Ironically I think I've done the best with her on the wide open cornfield map, simply because its much easier to defend gens and not have to deal with loops as much.

    Having her automatically gain corrupted purge when all fountains cleanse was a great change though, especially for aforementioned scenario. It helps her defensive strength considerably. Unfortunately the biggest thing any killer player wants in this game is a better way to deal with loops, and this killer ALMOST had a great balance of both that and map pressure.

    She can vomit right away, it doesn't have to be charged. In a chase you can hit the person right in front of you, twice. That puts them at one hit. In addition, her corrupted power gives her ranged attacks. I think when people have more time with her they will see if it's fair or not. The pallets and even ground can be plagued so it's not like she can't counter looping.

    My biggest gripe so far is the giant cloud you can't sneak around with. How am I supposed to hide in grass or even behind walls?

    It's not two hits, they have a meter to be filled. Two quick bursts won't put them in broken state.

    You can't infect the ground, just interactables. That said, windows CAN be infected, as can lockers and even totems. In terms of the amount of puke needed, it takes a LOT more than just two quick pukes, and there IS a minimum charge required (though short, it is present) meaning that you can't just flick m2 and get free infection. Her most popular (rightfully so) addons are the ones that increase the amount of infection granted from exposure to the vomit stream, and the ones that reduce charge time (which is why you might have encountered that.)
