Yep, new map is horrible. So many pallets next to each other. One strong pallet tile 8 meters next to a jungle gym (with pallet of) next to one of the new jungle gyms to the confusing main building with semi infinite Windows to next save pallet tile 8 meters next to killer shack etc etc. It's currently horrible. I'm playing currently solo survivor as much as I can cut it wasn't that easy to 5 gen run a killer for a long time.

The double pallets are back because the game HAS TO place a certain number of pallets, even when the slots that avoid double pallets are already full.

That happened because they tweaked the minimum pallet count for each map and the minimum distance theyre allowede to be placed together.

Unless they remove the random element, such mishaps will always happen.

there is a minimum and maximum amount of pallets on each map.

if the game has reached its maximum and still spawns a pallet jungle gym, there wont be a pallet present there. this also works the other way around, so if the game has not reached the minimum amount, but all the jungle gyms have spawned already, it will add a second pallet to one of them (or multiple, depending on how many pallets are missing).
