Dead by Daylight is less fun to play now, for a couple reasons.
One, lobby and loading screen bugs.
Two Legion. (franks mix tape in specific but whole killer needs rework). Prayer beads is an insta DC too. I dont want to play that crap when I could play other games and give them my money instead.
Three, no real disincentive for killers to tunnel and incentives to do so (dying light) which ruin survivor experience which is why killer ques right now are 8 times longer than survivor ones ie survs arnt playing. need some kind of rank or BP penalty for doing that.
Vault hitbox bugs and crappy hitboxes for things like head-on.
Overall there is a reason DBD is at 25k players right now even after new content down from 62k last april. BVHR ignoring what players want. I just only hope what happened to Heroes of the Storm. doesnt happen here cause its looking that way at the moment.

I'm not having fun as survivor because I get robbed of pips almost every game. It's really frustrating. People say "BuT rAnK dOeSnT mAtTeR" well it matters to some people. I can get 32k BP and escape but if I don't pip the game's not rewarding to me. IDC if there's no rewards, I want to be rank 1 as surv and killer and I want to play against/with skilled opponents.

What?!?!? Have you played the new map or Coldwind since the update? If you've used up a ton of pallets, 2 or 3 gens are done and the lack of pallets is a complete non issue at that point.

i dont understand ranking at all.. its like getting punished for beign good.. you get longer wait times get no bonus XP or shards for being in high rank and to top it off most players in highrank are try hards and dont make the match fun. i would endure all that if matchmaking can find me game with in a minute. coz time is more important to me and lobby is sim is no what i paid for.

Just had 3 gold and one bronze as survivor and zero pip. Played several matches and the bp gain was atrocious and I'm running PT and WGLF. DC's, 3-man starts, tunnels and camps. Went back to killer and made more BP in 2 matches than I did in 5 survivor matches. WTH is up with the survivor game now? Keep getting paired with rank 18 survivors with less than 150 hours.

There is no reward, rank is meaningless.

Killers should not be penalized for doing what's in their best interest, that's like expecting survivors to be punished for looping, it's nonsense.
That being said, Legion does need a serious rework.

That's the minimum number of pallets. It's very unlikely you actually get that amount -- especially on legacy realms.

I kinda agree with your points.
Infinite loading screen is awful, I didn't get it in a long time, but when you do it's annoying as hell.
A lot of people say Legion is terribly designed and needs a rework, and I completely agree. It's a fairly weak killer, but probably the most toxic and annoying one, it's just unfun to play against him. Get hit, mend, repeat. Not to mention that vaults and pallets are kind of useless against him and that's the only thing survivors have, not even stealth helps them because of Frenzy.
Tunneling will always exist, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's a strategy, yeah, but it makes it super unfun. The only time I will ever tunnel someone, is if they are toxic, or if there's 1/2 gen(s) or when exit gates are opened.
Vault hitboxes are a sensitive topic in here. People say that it's normal, because Killers can hit through windows. I agree with that, but I'm pretty sure it's not okay, when someone has 70 ping, vaults a window, runs forward and the killer still gets the hit on the survivor, when his weapon actually hit the window.

Yes, the emblems need fixing and yes, Legion is in need of going back to the drawing board.
But you know what?
It has not been mentioned that maybe one of the reasons there’s a drop in players is because the game is currently balanced like 1 survivor < the killer < swf. Hard pill to swallow but survivors, especially swfs, are too strong right now and the killer is too weak. And it can’t be fixed with new perks.
The killer should be the role you go to to relax and take it easy - you’re the killer, you’re in control - but in reality it’s the exact opposite. Survivors have 4 perks that all help them survive while the killer has 4 perks that they must choose that still leaves them open to a multitude of weaknesses (ie. If you have an aura build you can’t do anything about items and stuns etc.) Survivors also only lose items upon consumption or death, and they have really strong items (ahem multiple toolboxes) that makes the game halfway over before the killer can get across the map or get someone.
That’s not even going into how the hatch screws over solo survivors and killers alike.
There’s way too many obstacles for killers, which encourages new and pressured killers alike to camp and tunnel to ensure they get something out of the game. And survivors, especially in a group, have too much power and freedom that ultimately makes games for them to lose and killers gain traction only through their mistakes.

When you take power role killer and before you get 1st hook survs got 2 gens from 5 .Typical in dbd but wait for next dlc with more perks but no a chance to fix core mechanic game.
