How to properly level up characters?
Hey, well, hello, this my first post.
I started playing not so long ago, and the survivor I play most is Meg.
But I recently got 3 new dlc’s survivors (Laurie, Jane, Kate) and here comes my question..
I actually want to play a lot of different survivors (Claudette, Laurie, Jane, Kate, Meg) but one thing I cant understand is how to level them up correctly.
QUESTION: Should I focus specific survivors until I get them to a decent level or should I work them out at the same time?
Also, is it recommended that I play with the survivor i want to level up or do I play with my main in order to ensure more BP?

It’s been my experience that some folks prefer to play as the killer, because you can get a lot more points that way vs playing survivor even without getting kills. Then they just dump those points into whatever they want to level.

Play the survivor you want to level up IF you enjoy it. This game doesn't require you even play survivor to earn points for survivors. For example my Bloodpoint farming build is:
Doctor: Distressing 3, BBQ 3, Thrill of the Hunt 3, Ruin/Lullaby 3
This generates a ton of BP per match (even when I take pity on survivors and let them escape) and is the fastest way to grind BP. I can then put that BP towards other killers OR survivors I want to get good perks on.
I use the Doctor for almost all my BP farming for survivors, and is how I got them all to level 50 with loads of perks. I even used the doctor on the killers I don't enjoy playing so I could get all the killers to level 50 too.
Just play what you enjoy or go for max BP gain.
