Do you want survivors to check my steam profile before hand? Noone would ever stay in my loby :-P I have 20 pages of comments from dead salty survivors on my profile, I call them my "trophies"

That is actually a really insightful way of looking at 0-1ks. Thanks for the perspective! Maybe next time I play against what I suspect are seasoned swfs I will remember this so I won’t feel so toothless. I mostly try to play for the blood points - I get points and bbq/wglf I’m happy.

Seeing the survivor in the lobby is there for the killer to setup and counteract certain items, that was by design as it's a 1v4 game.
The only issues I have are seeing survivor profiles and names as it promotes dodging and toxicity, there is no logical reason for anyone to need to see a profile before the match starts.
Imo the lobby should show survivors with items only.

@pemberley: I mean, that's how I view it. It only works, maybe, if DbD isn't your primary game where ranking-up matters.
For me, it isn't. It's one of my unwinding and relaxation games. I've been a horror fan since I was a kid in the late 1970s (I was born in '72). I grew-up on it. My dad did special effects. As an author, I've made part of my living in horror (though I write in several genres). In the table-top game industry when I was part of it (I retired from it summer 2018), I worked on Evil Dead and Friday the 13th licenses years ago.
So, I just look at DbD as something fun. I get to be the killer in a slasher film vignette. And often in the slasher genre, the killer just gets his ass kicked in the end.

I just think we should be able to see the killer username not the killer they going to use mostly because you may not want to play with this user again if you play with him before like he toxie (GGEZ) like person who get joy by ruin others game by targeting one person.

It's in the narrative of the game.
The killer is watching the survivors at the campfire.
They prepare for the match.
If not, Franklin's would be like a second Ruin, almost mandatory on certain killers, so you effecty only have 2 Perks to chose. Not good.
By checking the steam account you can see if they are SWF and up your game.
Voice can nullify so much of a killers Perks and Powers. Knockout, Third Seal ect. are all less effective or even nullified by voice. So don't bother taking them against obvious SWF.

People actually defend this ridiculous idea? Every trapper will vs Small game. Every wraith will vs flashlights. Every Hag will vs flashlights and urban and all nurses will vs urban, iron will, claudettes etc. #########!!!! And Myers would be completely useless then LOL
