Should Head On be Exhaustion or just a Cool down?

I can see a lot of problems if they just give it a base cool down like Quick and Quiet and Dance With Me. Such as some rather wicked loops and it just being over all annoying.

But would it add in any BIG problems or just a lot of little annoying ones?

2 minutes cooldown would make it a bit stronger than exhaustion.

You would get rewarded for running a killer long enough.

Current head on is meeeh, dead hard is just more important and consistent for me

It does need to be an exhaustion perk for it to be balanced.

    BUT

I also believe the stun from Head On should be applied during the "jumping out" animation and not when the animation has ended, as the killer simply just snatch you up mid-animation..

I think a cool down would make it more viable.

Imagine this scenario, if you will. Head On (no exhaustion affliction), Sprint Burst, Dance With Me, Quick and Quiet.

    >Killer waltzes by a locker.

    >Survivor exits the locker quickly, using Head On, and Quick and Quiet (tbh, I don't think Q&Q would make much of a difference in this situation).

    >Killer is stunned.

    >Survivor then Sprint Bursts away using Dance With Me to hide their scratch marks.

    >Killer has no idea what the hell just happened or where the survivor went.

    >Killer's time has just been wasted, and the survivor gets away scot-free.

It needs to be an exhaustion perk for balance reasons. Otherwise you could combine it with Sprint Burst or Lithe which would make it too strong.

You could make it a cooldown perk but also have a unique effect where activate type perks have a 2 sec cooldown before their unique effects go off.

So you couldn't say jump out and get the stun and then immediately Sprint burst or if there's a Trapper trap immediately Dead hard through it.

Reduce all tiers by 10 seconds and reduce the activation timer to 2 seconds to make it more usable.

The Exhaustion part is fine it's just that the stun should be when you jump out of the locker instead of when you fully exit the locker. I also think the stun time should be 3.5 instead of 3 seconds.

Wow and all you have to do is carry a bunch of merely okay perks and hope everything falls into place for that to happen once a trial at most.

That's a nice hyperbole but very unlikely to happen.

It will happen, but not as much as the oh-so-frightening P3 Claudettes with Turbo-Purple-Durple-Flashlights. >_>

BTW, St Ukraine, I respects yous. You's a nice person on these forums. Not like Wolf_1964 or Bloopberry.

Just get rid of the 3 sec timer and fix the hitboxes. Also make it not be affected by Enduring.

@Saint_Ukraine That is so unlikely to happen solely base on the fact that sprint burst will most likely activate beforehand. Regardless, if you brought in perks just for that situation to happen then you shouldn't really complain about it when it does happen. Q&Q and Dance with me are stealth perks for a reason...
