Multiplayer NOT working

Okay so my friend and i wanted to play together. Just One problem. It does NOT work at all. We go on survive with friends. And Then we cannot find a game. We both have 300/250 GB network so we know that aint The problem. We have waited 45 min now and tryed to switch between us to see if that helped but it did Not ;( any one have any tip to how we Can play Together? Or is it just Worlds worst Coop multiplayer system?

You mean you can't find a match?
That's normal for this game, also big difference in ranks could cause even longer queue times.
