Steam gone down for anyone else?
Me and my friends want to play the new update but literally the moment the update came out, steam went down for all 3 of us, and we can't open anything

Presumably the fact that those ######### are treating their storefront as if it were a different platform altogether. They're "poaching" games from Steam to be sold on their ######### store for a full year by bribing publishers. Meanwhile, those publishers allow for preorders on Steam, to serve as free advertisement, and pull the games at the last minute.

I’m... so lost. I don’t quite get it— Epic Games, and some of Steam Games, merge? Kinda to get to strike back on how Epic saying it’s an individual platform (which it’s not), and is ruining the quality of perfect games by only making them available there?

That's what I initially thought, but when it went down for real, I was worried. It's back now, so it was probably just the "end" of the joke.

I knew it would be back. They would just stab themselves in the knee by taking down Steam for an entire day. Bad for business.
