Color blind help please...
All killers...I didn't even know there was blood in this game until my son pointed it out to me. This was a LONG time ago when the game first came out, and I was trying "Sloppy Butcher"...no scratches, but there was blood I couldn't see.
I know I don't see scratches as well as everyone else....without a doubt. Hook and trap outlines can be very sketchy as well.
Here's the thing....as the Huntress, when I'm out of hatchets, the hatches in the lockers are very obvious. They are green and really stand out against everything else. So IF I as the killer am suppose to see things rather obviously, like scratches and traps....why can't they just be greenish yellow like the hatchets in the lockers? Hell, make them White, I don't really care. Just seems like I'm not seeing what I should be seeing and have been playing with a handicap since day one. Kind of surprised I've gotten this far for so long already.

I'm colorblind myself. I use a software to help it out.
It requires :
To have a Geforce type of card.
To install older Nvidia Drivers (390.77) and Nvidia Geforce Experience
To enable the Nvidia Overlay and the Nvidia Beta Features.Once you did that, you unlock an overlay allowing some graphic adjustments, called Nvidia Freestyle.
It includes some colorblind modes, along with some other stuff you might like.It is not bannable whatsoever and whitelisted, at the moment, so you can use this without risks.

Currently running 398.11.
Would you be so kind as to post a couple screenshots of gens and hooks from far away. Or perhaps scratches and blood. I know it's a lot to ask....but I'm not a big fan if running legacy drivers if I don't have to. I'm sure you know what I mean.
There are many types of color blindness, as, again, I'm sure you are aware. In the meantime...I'll check out "Freestyle" through Goog.

So, turns out I have everything I need....but perhaps the drivers are still off. I go to apply the overlay, and it tells me, "An error has occurred, please restart your game". Tried it 3 times...just won't let me use that feature.

The recent drivers bugged it on most new games.
390.77 is the newest version to know to work with Dbd/PUBG and such before it went buggy. (maybe it was on purpose tho.)1 -
Good luck. I still use these drivers, and they work fine on all the games I play so far.
And yes, the sliders are awesome.It's actually the same script than reshade. Reshade creator got hired by Nvidia.

Worked like a charm. It's going to take some time to mess with the controls since it can only be adjusted while in game. I was hoping to use a screenshot or something to fine tune. Either way, I can see blood and scratches now!
