Plagues vital purges body blocking is a problem.
I just played a game with a camping Plague. She hooked a Claudette in the basement and I went for the save. I got the save but plague body blocked the stairs and threw up on me. I couldn’t pass through her so she got me in the broken status effect and she hit me. So I couldn’t do anything, and got hooked in the basement. With Myers you can pass through him when he’s stalking so he can’t do what that Plague did. Whats yalls opinion? I know I didn’t really make that much since but I tried explaining it the best I could.

I heard its a bannable offense to block the basement stairs, dunno for sure though...
I got blocked by a pig once while having a head trap, she just turned around to let the chase drop and simply waited until my head exploded and there was nothing I could have done (other than to report her afterwards for exploit).

Translation: I went for a stupid basement save and wasn't allowed to just walk out without being punished for bad play.
Translation: The Killer can actually kill me if i get caught, and that's just not fair.

@PunL @Jake1994 Look, regarding the basement stairs the killer is allowed to body block you as long as they aren't holding your game hostage.
What's that mean? It means that as long as you aren't going to be forced to DC to exit the basement then the body blocking is allowed.
In Jake's example they were trapped then downed. Jake didn't have to DC as the killer quickly dealt with them so it's okay.
In PunL's example they were trapped then killed. Sure waiting for the RBT to trigger is annoying but after some time something kills you so you don't have to DC. This means the killer blocking you is okay.
If you don't want to be trapped then either don't go down there or run back into the basement. The stairs are the only space where they can trap you so if the killer is a bit on the dumber side you can bait them down and then run past.

Yeah don't forget that plague only actually needs to catch up to a survivor once to hit them. IF she even chooses to catch up to them. If she waited a little longer and kept puking on you she couldve auto gotten her corrupt (if she had corrupt fountains available) and just floored you without swinging an arm. It's fair, survivors aren't entitled to get a save and not deal with campers. Sucks but it is what it is.

Not when all she does is body block because her vile purge has no collision. So she doesn’t have to catch up to you while in the basement

You can avoid going into the basement when you know the killer is around.
I don't get why people think they should always be able to get out of any situation they find themselves in regardless of what they did. Sometimes avoiding a scenario is the only way to not have bad things happen to you. You shouldn't expect to get a second chance for all your mistakes.
And its not bannable.

Report the killer who body blocked you in the basement. Body Block is unsportsmanlike and is a punishment.

How is it exploiting? Killers can bodyblock, the Plague can inflict broken. Yeah, it sucks but that's what happened

If you get bodyblocked by any instadown killer its only your fault.

Translation : Body blocking is only an exploit when a killer does it, but it's okay for me to crouch near the hook so the survivor on the killers shoulder wiggles free because it doesn't get anyone hooked.

It’s not. Not with the pig at least. That’s fair gameplay, to secure a kill. But with plague idk, that could be bodyblocking but since she’s using her ability it might not be. I think it’s bannable if the killer has to be holding the game hostage as in the killer is blocking you into a corner and not letting you leave. But blocking basement when someone’s hooked no it isn’t

Blocking basement stairs is bannable only if Killer is doing it for keeping someone as hostage in game.
Plague bodyblocking stairs and puking over you to to make you broken and then downing isn't exactly same thing.
Scenario where there is two survivors in basement and they go in lockers and killers refuses to pick another is kinda shady situation. Should survivors to just give up or should Killer just to grab another and accept that another gets a chance to escape.
Honestly I would want to know is that considered keeping game as hostage or not because it's stalemate situation.

Body blocking itself isn't what is banable. Rather holding the game hostage is banable. This is where you keep people from playing the game and from leaving the game without a DC and NOT where you trap someone temporarily.
If the game can end without a DC then it isn't holding the game hostage.
Survivors can do it too by body blocking another survivor in the corner

And then the camping scum gets a free kill and ruins the game for the person in the basement completely. (just as with instaheals, etc)

No. It depends. If the killer doesnt do anything besides blocking its bannable offense for holding the game hostage.

@MegsAreEvil if like the OP is saying then they’re just downing you so nothing bannable there. If like you said they’re doing it to hold the game hostage then yes it is bannable.

If a killer misses a hit, do you immediately go back and let them hit you? No, because that's stupid.
Taking advantage of your opponent's mistakes is not unfair.

If the killer blocks for no reason other than to keep them thier forever then it is bannable because they are holding the survivors that are trapped hostage and the only way for them to leave the game is to dc
