I never thought I would have to say this, and I didn't want to but
Mettle of Man needs to be nerfed, BRUTALLY NERFED. GIVE IT THE F*CKING FREDDY TREATMENT. I wanted to give it a chance, I did, I said to myself "its not that bad, we need to help survivors out a bit since they've been hit pretty hard as if recent" but nah, f*ck that #########. A nerf I'd give it is so that it only works on your last hook, to prevent the tunneling that it's meant to prevent. Cause right now it's bad for when you want to spread out the damage to the other survivors. Practically gives the survivor an undeserved escape. Its cost me many games as of recent and I'm sure there are others who have been hit hard by it as well. My poor Freddy has been abused for too long, and all he receives is another nerf. Oof, Darn, Entity Displeased

I'd be happy with that I guess, seems fair. Only problem is your first hook may be your last.
But then again I'm not sure this perk is as strong as people think but that's just me, if its nerfed too hard I'll just use dead hard to be honest
Freddy just need's his rework, dream world should be op and hard to get out of. He should be in control, he was the first killer I bought lol what a mistake

Hm, I guess its true, but normally someone tries to rescue you when being camped and someone rescues you either way in a normal game. Guess it'd be more situational

Freddy had it worse on this patch, imagine playing against a good survivor with an insta-heal while running DS/Deliverance/MoM/DH or Adren. 7 hits to down a survivor with a 7 second delay. Honestly this is a bad patch for Freddy mains.

DURRRR JUS HIT DEM AGAEN!!!!!!
spoken like a true survivor main

@sKetch OOF. Not tough to beat, but it's a brutal combo? Hmm.

with such great gymnastics skills he should sign up for the circus
3 -
@yeet TBF, most survivor mains should.

because the combo is blatantly overpowered? yes!

there is a clear difference between strong and blatantly overpowered
yet you cannot see that through your bias

How does this sound?
Body block idea is from @thesuicidefox.
METTLE OF MAN:
Evil always finds its way to you. Whenever you take 2 hits while the killer is carrying another survivor, Mettle of Man will activate. If Mettle of Man is activate while the killer is carrying another survivor, the next hit that would otherwise cause you to enter the dying state will be ignored. A successful Mettle of Man will reset upon use but you cannot gain any progress towards activation for the next 5/4/3 minutes.
Increases your chances of becoming the killer's obsession.

@Nickenzie That's a good idea we could work with. Thumbs up to @thesuicidefox

NO!
SWF would abuse it as well. Once someone is downed they swarm you to get hit. On top it will reset after use? Reset means it can be used again. HELL NO!!!
MoM needs to go. Ash gets a new perk. Clear and simple.

@Nickenzie it would be cool, I would probably run mad grit more often then

@Nickenzie How to kill a perk 101
Though current MoM is not acceptable, that rework makes it really bad and almost unusable.

Honestly, I am not seeing MoM as much already. It is a one time use perk and may not even come into play. It is not like Dead Hard that allows the survivor to avoid multiple hits from the start. Technically, DH is a much stronger perk than MoM. If you are crying for MoM to be nerfed, you are fooling yourself. DH is your bigger enemy.
DH - Avoids all damage when activated and causes exhaustion for 60 seconds. All damage! Hatchets, Chainsaws, Shape's EW3, Vile Purge, Corrupt Purge, Bear Traps, and even NOED. It is used several time throughout the match. I've seen it used to dodge up to 6 instances of damage in a match. Requires little skill to use. Timing is easily picked up, even my legally blind wife uses it effectively.
MoM - One time use. Survivors can't choose when it is used, it is entirely dependent on when the killer hits them to activate. As far as I can tell, it only works once per match. Would require you being hit 8 times for the second use to pop up (if it does). Only avoids M1 hits, and only if you are in injured state. If you heal while it is active, you are revealed to the killer.
Nowhere near as good as DH.

@Warlock_2020 The thing is, you can predict dead hard, you can prepare for it while there's not much you can do against mettle of man aside from playing a specific killer or perk. A specific killer or perk should not be a counter because then other killers are left in the dust, and we don't need anymore Nurses and Billys at high ranks

Been there already now I'm just runnin tombstone/one hit wonder killers with a dose of one hit hatchet
