New Perk Idea

Here's the basics:
The new perk would be called "Echo".
This new perk might be a hex perk.
The description could be something akin to the following. "Your ears have adapted to the natural sounds of the Entity's realm and you can hear disturbances better." The noises from Survivors (specifically: healing, sabotaging, and repairing.) and their hearing distances are increased by (4/6/8) meters. I'm eager for feedback.

Why should it be a Hex perk? And I kind of feel like it would not be beneficial to make the radius the person could be healing in bigger. Right now if you hear the noise they must be close, this range increase would be confusing.

Would probably make more sense if rather than increasing the range people can be heard from, it simply made certain sound effects louder within the current distance.

Alright, so I initially intended for "Echo" to be a direct counter to Technician. So to make the perk more useful it should instead look like this?
Name: Echo
Description: "Your ears have adapted to the natural sounds of the Entity's realm and you can hear disturbances better."
Effect: Noises from repairs, chest searching, totem cleansing, healing, and sabotaging are
(25/50/50) louder. At tier three the hearing distance is increased by 4 meters.
How does this sound?
Also to answer "Mercury" I only suggested that it be a hex perk as I personally want more non-unique hex perks. Additionally since Stridor exists I am a bit concerned on how that perk would hypothetically pair with this one.0
