With Technician, Generator repairs seem louder?
Useless perk in my mind.

Yeah Technician would be too strong if it lowered the sound of all survivors on a gen 🙄

I tested this in a KYF match as killer to see if it's a perk worth using, I played with two survivors, one with the perk and one without, the one without Technician was quieter.

Could be a glitch in KYF or something, its definitely worked on me while playing killer before. When patrolling the gens when you get within s certain distance you can hear them, with technician it reduces that distance by a few meters. It will still sound the same you just have to move closer to hear it

I only use Technician for my drunk build. This is disappointing though I had no idea.

Tech is a pretty good perk if you want to toy around on a gen that has already been kicked but the Killer hasn't realized it yet while in a chase with someone close by. The missed skillcheck ability it gives too is pretty unique and neat, but I do agree that it's one of those perks that deserves some tweaks and buffs. :)

The thing about Technician is that the noise reduction only affects your repair sounds. The generator gradually getting louder and your teammates are unaffected.
All Technician does is make the small noises from actually touching the generator even quieter.
(Also the chance to silence skillcheck fails)
