Is it right to cleanse a dull totem before the 5 gens are popped? I do it mostly for points and i don't care too much for NOED (i play solo). Should I not cleanse it so other people who maybe search totems or just cleanse it and don't care?

Just do it

personally I’ll only cleanse 1 dull totem. Assuming everyone else adopts this mentality, and assuming ruin (because you should) all of the totems will be done quickly and there won’t be any NOED ato worry about.
If it is closing in on the end of the game, I don’t run around like a potato looking for totems. If I see one, I simply remember where it is, so I can cleanse it later if it happens to be NOED.
i also prioritize totems near the exit gates, because if NOED spawns bear an exit gate you will not be able to cleanse it and save an ally.

In my experience do not assume other survivors will do ANYTHING, cleanse to your hearts content and smile when NOED fails to pop, chests however are a different story...Maybe don't go out of your way looking for them unless you have small game but definitely cleanse any you come across.

Dude you do you, you are meant to cleanse the totems. I don't do it if there is no survivor momentum and i try make sure noone is on the hook but play the way you want to.

I generally only cleanse a dull totem if its in a hard to find spot or its very far away from the doors. If theyre out in the open i leave em. Easy to find later imo

Do you like noed? No? Then cleanse the totems.

If you see one cleanse it, or it may haunt you later. Don't rely on anybody else to do it. They may be too busy running for their lives when they pass it.

I hate survivors like you that take the time to cleanse the dull totems they come across. How is my NOED suposed to activate??? Did you think about that???
