Learning Nurse...

So I’ve been working on my Nurse gameplay lately. Started out with some pretty rough games. Told myself i’d power through the ######### games while learning...

Well the last two times I’ve played, I’ve been getting multiple DCs on first hook, been ######### talked postgame for playing Nurse and running Ruin (which I’m using to give me more time to practice), even had a “streamer” try to tell me that Nurse is super easy and should be ignored because how cheesy she is.. “everyone knows this”.

Ive come to expect the toxicity from this community but damn, I’m not even good yet lol. Just trying to practice some Nurse!

Ignore them just salty. I had a Hag game where 3 people DC on death hook and Jane got hatch and we talked, she was pretty salty, and when I asked why they DC'd, she said '3 DC, huh?' Then 'That says something about your playstyle'. When nothing is wrong with it, I just trapped 1/2 of the map because they already had a gen done in the first 10 seconds.

Survivors can get super salty over little things, so don't take it personally, just enjoy the salt.

As a Nurse main, I always get alot of ######### for playing Nurse. Doesnt matter if I play good or bad, Nurse gets the 2nd most disconnects after Legion. Survivors just cant stand it, when they need to actually juke the killer, and cant just mindlessly run around in circles like with every other killer.

    "Nurse is super easy"

WHAT? IS SHE? I need the secrets now! I freaking suck with Nurse, I get bullied worse than a rank 20 wraith tip toeing around the map swinging at thin air when his target is like 5 steps ahead. You should've told him "Easier than using dbd to gain a streaming career". Literally everyone and their dead gerbil from childhood is a streamer.

Honestly. I hate playing killer and survivors think they did something when they throw the pallet like “oh no I will just get rid of the pallet and waste 2 seconds” when that happens they usually go down in matter of seconds because looping is their only defense

You killed survivors. You did something against their made up rules that you didn’t follow. That’s why they whine.

In all seriousness, just ignore them like others have told you. I don’t even bother to have conversations with survivors after the game. It’s an annoyance I can very easily live without.

Sounds to me like those survivors don't want you to become good with Nurse.

Like the others have said, just ignore it.

Nurse takes a very long time to master, but once you do, you'll be a force to be reckoned with.

P.S. Nothing wrong with using Ruin. That's just made up garbage survivors spew.

It's funny how one killer is two different things entirely, I play on console so anyone who can play her is considered a god. I think that toxicity is common though, towards anyone learning a killer, it's fine to use whatever build you want, especially ruin if you're still learning and need a stall. Just wait until you are god tier by sticking through this practice though, they're probably still going to cry...

Disable your aftetgame chat. But wait 15~ seconds before leaving the round so they might start typing their rants.

Feed on their hare without reading it lol.

But seriously as everyone said. Ignore the butthurt losers who're butthurt because they lost.

They'd whine at a trapper for getting 1 trap grab.

To be honest, whatever side you are playing, whatever killer you are playing, or perks you are running....someone is going to complain, b***h or be salty, it's sadly the nature of a good portion of the player base.

You do you. Practice, get to the point where you feel good about your handling on her and sod everyone else who wants to whine. Personally I'm utter pants at playing nurse (though oddly adept at mostly avoiding her on a map) so I give kudos to anyone willing to actually slog through those first painful matches in order to get better :)

I've recently taken up learning her as well(as in 30mins ago...lol!) and while I know a few tricks(mostly from them getting used on me by a nurse killer) I can do better than normal but learning to time her blinks is a pain PLUS you gotta be ready to be juked with absolute ease.

Even a seasoned nurse main will get juked 3 or more times before they finally snag a hit on a seasoned survivor. It's not because she's weak, is because her blink is 100% predictable unless you do short fast blinks which is only viable when close to a survivor.

If I can be a selfish little fuicktard for about 3mins, there are some matches where I just want them to stand around like idiots and let me kill them because I am sick and tired of survivors running circles and bullying an killer who is OBVIOUSLY learning to play a new killer!
